Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) tried to attack President Donald Trump over the current state of the economy… but he really only proved that it’s THE DEMOCRATS who are responsible for the persistent economic issues America is facing.
During an interview on ABC News, Schiff admitted that the reason his party lost the 2024 election is because they were “not laser focused” on the high cost of living.
Now that’s certainly a bit of an understatement considering that the cost of basically everything shot up with the Democrats in control for the past 4 years, so much so that many Americans were forced to work second and third jobs just to keep their families from starving, buy hey, at least he’s admitting it (even if he didn’t mean to.)
ABC’s “This Week,” co-host Jonathan Karl asked senator Schiff about the Democrats’ childish behavior during Trump’s speech to Congress last week during which they shouted at him, waved paddle signs with little saying on them, and refused to stand to honor a young boy who was fighting cancer or acknowledge the siblings and parents of two young girls killed by illegal aliens.
Schiff said in response that he thinks the party’s little stunts “took the focus off of where it should have been, which is on the fact that the president spoke for an hour and 40 minutes and had nothing to say about what he would do to bring down costs.”
He went on to say that Trump’s speech did not offer Americans help to “afford a new home, pay the rent or afford health care or child care,” adding how Democrats need to keep their “focus” on the economy.
“They’re destroying the economy, and they’re making it harder and harder for Americans to afford things. That’s where we need to keep the focus,” Schiff added.
“That’s why we lost the last election, because we weren’t laser-focused on the high cost of living, and what they’re doing now is just making it so much worse in the administration, and that’s really what we need to emphasize.”
Schiff’s attempt to bash Trump’s work on the economy in less than two months shows that the senator apparently still thinks we’re in 2016, when Americans would actually believe any of these lies.
But Americans have simply seen TOO MUCH LYING from the left and their buddies in the mainstream media over the past several years, peddling bogus narratives like this won’t get the job done anymore.
What Americans WILL take away from this is the fact that Schiff and his fellow democrats who all told us “everything was fine” under President Joe Biden’s economy were literally lying to our faces the entire time.
They KNEW the economy was in shambles. They KNEW the cost-of-living was out of control…. Yet they did nothing because, in Schiff’s own words, they weren’t “laser focused on it.”
For pretty much all of 2024 surveys showed that the two biggest concerns on voters’ minds were the economy and the Southern Border.
If Schiff is confessing that they didn’t care about the economy enough, and not a single Democrat in their right mind would try and say they were concentrating on fixing the border, then what the hell WERE they actually focused on?
Well if the recent discoveries of massive corruption in our government have shown us anything, it’s that the only thing these left-wing crooks were “laser-focused” on is lining their own pockets with OUR dollars, while destroying the country that we know and love.
