Since getting into power, Attorney General Merrick Garland has been nothing more than a partisan attack dog for the Democrats, but with the 2024 presidential election quickly approaching, he’s decided it’s time to kick things up a notch.
Garland’s role as AG has been defined by what feels like endless political attacks against conservatives and a brazen willingness to do the dirty work for the entire Biden family.
While the Justice Department is SUPPOSED to be non-partisan, Garland has not even pretended that this is true for his DOJ.
But now that the left has their grip on power being tested this November, the party’s AG is doing his part to intimidate voters into voting for Democrat candidates.
To do that, Garland has been making an example out of the January 6 protesters, even going so far as to BRAG about his efforts to throw peaceful protesters behind bars for having the audacity to question the legitimacy of the last election.
At a press briefing, Garland bragged about how under his leadership, the DOJ has prosecuted nearly 1,500 Americans for peacefully protesting the 2020 election after multiple anomalies were identified in multiple states. He’s warning voters that they will face a similar fate if they question a Democrat victory this November.
Why does he think there will be a protest after this election? Are the Democrats planning to steal the election? Hmmmm???
“I think our prosecutions have made clear what we think about people who try to interfere with the peaceful transfer of power, which is [an] essential and fundamental element of our democracy,” Garland said.
Referring to the 1,500 Americans who are political criminals thanks to him, Garland bragged about making them pay, saying, “We have a substantial number of convictions.”
“I think that’s shown to everybody how seriously we take an effort to interfere with the peaceful transfer of power the last January 6, the coming January 6, and every January 6 after that,” he continued.
Garland added, “I want to make clear to anybody who is thinking about interfering with that: They can see what we’ve done with respect to the January 6 prosecutions, and [the] Justice Department will continue to protect our democracy.”
But by now we’ve heard these tired lines enough to know that when the Democrats talk about protecting democracy they REALLY mean rigging elections to make sure that THEY remain in charge of our so-called democracy.
What Garland is actually saying here with his disgusting little intimidation campaign is that the Democrats WILL steal the election and they intend to turn the DOJ on every American who dares to call out their illegal actions or tries to stand in their way.
All of this time, their argument has been that J6ers “stormed the capitol” building and needed to be punished accordingly, but judging from the rhetoric that Garland is using, the DOJ could come after Americans for something as minor as a social media post suggesting that the election was illegitimate.
This sort of thing is already happening in the socialist United Kingdom where people are being arrested for the crime of inciting hate on social media.
Here in America, the Democrats are SALIVATING at the idea they could do something similar under the premise that people questioning our elections online are a threat to democracy.
We’ve certainly seen that Garland, empowered by President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, is MORE THAN WILLING to target conservatives at will over much less serious “crimes.”
This current iteration of the DOJ has arrested people for PRAYING outside of abortion clinics – hell, they’ve even gone after the FORMER PRESIDENT and the Democrats’ foremost political rival.
The Democrats will do WHATEVER it takes to try and keep President Trump out of power. Don’t let their disgusting intimidation tactics silence you, or our country will be lost FOREVER!
