As tensions continue to rise between the US and China, a new discovery has been made which could push us over the brink and lead to an all-out conflict between the two nations.
According to Washington, China has reportedly been fueling attacks on American warships.
The US state department is accusing China’s communist government of working to supply the Iranian-backed Houthis, who are known for attacking ships the Red Sea, with the high-powered satellite technology needed to target US warships.
According to the State Department, Chang Guang Satellite Technology (CGST), a Chinese firm known to be closely tied to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been the responsible party.

The Financial Times first broke the report but the State Department confirmed it to be authentic.
“We can confirm the reporting that Chang Guang Satellite Technology Company Limited (CGSTL) is directly supporting Iran-backed Houthi terrorist attacks on U.S. interests,” State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce told a press briefing.
“The United States has raised our concerns privately numerous times to the Chinese government on Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co Ltd’s role in supporting the Houthis in order to get Beijing to take action,” a US official was quoted in the report as saying. But these warnings were reportedly “ignored.”
CGST is not just a Chinese company that seems to have gone rogue, they are a direct component of China’s “military-civil fusion program” which is their way of forcing “private” companies into assisting the Chinese military without question.
On top of that, the Chinese company was established in 2014 as a joint venture between the provincial government in Jilin and a branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Changchun, the province’s capital.
“CGST is one of a handful of ‘ostensibly’ commercial Chinese satellite companies that are in fact deeply embedded in the military-civil fusion ecosystem, supplying global surveillance capabilities to both civilian and military customers,” said James Mulvenon, an expert on the Chinese military and intelligence services at Pamir Consulting.
As the Trade war intensifies, China has effectively refused to negotiate and has instead chosen to retaliate, vowing to “fight to the end.”
This discovery that the Chinese are facilitating attacks on American warships now gives a new meaning to their idea of “fighting to the end.”
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump’s government is certainly aware of the threat posed by the CCP.
Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director John Ratcliffe has declared that China is the agency’s foremost priority in an internal memo sent to staff.
This memo outlines Ratcliffe’s concerns about the CCP, describing it as an unprecedented adversary seeking to challenge the United States on ALL fronts.
“No adversary in the history of our Nation has presented a more formidable challenge or a more capable strategic competitor than the Chinese Communist Party,” Ratcliffe said in the memo.
And now, we are on the verge of an all-out war with them.
