Imagine giving away presidential pardons — including to political allies and even family members — with a pen you didn’t even hold. That’s what we now know happened during Joe Biden’s so-called presidency. A new report from the House Oversight Committee confirms what many of us suspected all along: Joe Biden wasn’t running the country. Unelected staffers were. And they were using a machine — yes, a robot pen — to fake Biden’s signature and push their own agenda.
This nearly 100-page report is a legal and moral earthquake. It declares that executive actions and pardons issued with an autopen — without Biden’s direct involvement — are void. Let that sink in. Over 75 percent of Biden’s pardons and nearly 60 percent of his executive orders were rubber-stamped by a machine, not a man. The committee says, unless there’s proof Biden himself made the decision, those actions are invalid. In other words, fake president, fake signatures, fake decisions.
It gets worse. The Oversight Project reviewed nearly 1,600 documents from the Biden White House. They found that 846 out of 958 major executive actions — including pardons, commutations, and proclamations — were signed with a machine. That includes 75 percent of the pardons, many of them going to Biden allies like Anthony Fauci, General Mark Milley, and even members of the Biden family. Is this justice? Or is it corruption hiding behind a machine?
Even more disturbing, Biden’s signature appeared on documents while he was on vacation. In one case, he reportedly didn’t even remember signing an important executive order. Internal emails from the Justice Department reveal that top officials knew these autopen pardons were legally flawed. Yet they went ahead anyway.
This isn’t just laziness. This is deception. The American people were led to believe that Joe Biden was making decisions as president. But in reality, a group of unelected aides were calling the shots, hiding behind a failing figurehead and a robotic pen. This is not democracy. It’s a coup in slow motion.
Committee Chairman James Comer put it plainly: “Our report reveals how key aides colluded to mislead the public and the extraordinary measures they took to sustain the appearance of presidential authority.” That’s a polite way of saying the Biden presidency was a hoax, run by shadowy operatives who abused the power of the presidency while the real man in charge was either absent, unaware, or incapable.
The Biden team, of course, denies everything. They call the report “baseless” and say Biden was in control the whole time. But facts are stubborn things. You can’t explain away 846 autopen documents. You can’t pretend it’s normal for a president to pardon criminals while sunbathing in Delaware.
This report is a wake-up call. We, as a nation, cannot allow unelected staffers — or a pen on autopilot — to wield the power of the presidency. That power belongs to the people, through the man they elect. And President Trump, unlike his predecessor, signs his own name and makes his own decisions. That’s what leadership looks like.
It’s time for accountability. The House committee has asked the Department of Justice to investigate and possibly overturn these fake executive actions. They should. Because justice demands it, and our Constitution requires it.
The Biden Autopen Presidency is a national scandal, and the American people deserve the truth — and consequences.
