The Democrats have done their very best to sweep the southern border crisis under the rug. Mainstream media has looked the other way and pretended like the crisis doesn’t exist as the propaganda arm of the Democratic party looks to convince America that there is nothing to see here, but sooner or later the TRUTH was going to come out.
Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz has testified to Congress that the situation on the ground at the southern border is far worse than we could even imagine.
Ortiz said that, under Joe Biden, the Department of Homeland Security DOES NOT have operational control of the U.S. southern border – this means that the people tasked with protecting our borders have completely lost control.
The response came to a question from Chairman Mark Green about security on the U.S.-Mexico border.
“Does DHS have operational control of our entire border?” Green asked.
“No sir,” Ortiz responded plainly.
Behind Green was a poster board that showed that “operational control,” as defined by U.S. law, is “the prevention of all unlawful entries into the United States, including entries by terrorists, other unlawful aliens, instruments of terrorism, narcotics and other contraband.”
That means that the Border Patrol Chief – the man with the most complete grasp of how things are down at the border – has ADMITTED the United States has lost the ability to prevent illegals, criminals, terrorists and others from entering the country.
This is about so much more than illegal immigrants!
The admission by Ortiz directly contradicts DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who during a separate hearing was asked specifically whether the U.S. had operational control of the southern border and responded, “Yes, we do.”
During the hearing, Green continued, asking Ortiz about whether or not Mayorkas had lied about this, the border patrol chief avoided answering the question directly, perhaps fearing he might face retribution from the authoritarian Biden regime.
All of this reinforces the fact that Joe Biden’s people have been lying to the American public about the chaos at our southern border. Murderers, Cartel Members, MS-13 gang members, Islamic terrorists and all sorts of criminals are sneaking into the country undetected.
Biden’s policies have not only allowed these people to enter the country – but even encouraged it. The president’s tenure has been a magnet for migrants and cartel smugglers.
The New York Times reported last year that the Mexican drug cartels went from making $500 million a year from human smuggling in 2018 to making $13 billion from human smuggling in 2022, a 2,500% increase.
The Biden administration has been good for business for the Cartels leading people to wonder – is that by design?
There has been speculation that the leftists in the federal government could be cooperating with the Mexican drug cartels to keep them in power, DESTROYING America in the process!
Just follow the money…It never lies. How do politicians go from working class to filthy rich in so short of time??? it’s surely not from their paychecks…Everything from money laundering, kickbacks, you name it. The Department of Homeland Security seems to have gone A.W.O.L. and with it the Statement “The Southern Border is Secure” Which seems to have a “Different Definition” or “Conceptuality” than What We the People are supposed to Accept as “Believable in Truth”
