Several years later and we’re still only beginning to uncover the massive amount of corruption that went into impeaching President Donald Trump during his first term, but this new detail is a truly disturbing
The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) is a foreign news organization which almost singlehandedly gave the Democrats the ammunition to impeach President Trump the first time.
The first impeachment of Trump stemmed from the phone call he had with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky where Trump urged the Ukrainian leader to look into a major corruption scandal involving Hunter Biden, the son of now President Joe Biden.
Radical Democrats in the House then spun this as though Trump was trying to use a foreign nation to dig up dirt on a political rival… which is funny because that’s exactly what the Democrats have been doing to Trump for the last decade.
OCCRP published a report at the time which “exposed” Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani’s business activities in Ukraine. This report was cited numerous times in the whistleblower complaint that led to Trump’s impeachment.
But who the hell is OCCRP and why was their bogus report influential enough to get a sitting U.S. president impeached?
Well let’s take a look at who exactly funds this foreign media outlet.
OCCRP’s list of financiers includes, the far-left George Soros-funded Open Society foundation, the Rockefeller brothers foundation, and…. the U.S. State Department?
Between 2013 and 2024, U.S. taxpayers have funded a MAJORITY of OCCRP’s expenditures at 52%.
The media outlet’s largest single financial backer is the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), a State Department subsidiary with SERIOUS ties to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
OCCRP’s board actually defended this bizarre connection to an outlet named Drop Site News who originally made this discovery.
“We understand that reasonable people may believe that’s a bad idea, especially since it is not the norm in journalism in the United States (although government support of journalism is not uncommon in Europe and elsewhere). This was thoroughly discussed years ago when OCCRP was founded,” the board wrote.
In other words, OCCRP is justifying their possible CIA funding by saying that… it’s “normal” in socialist countries all over Europe. Their argument is that it’s ok for the American government to control the media because European countries do the same thing.
OCCRP isn’t just primarily funded by the “U.S. State Department” cough, cough CIA – they were actually FOUNDED by it.
The foreign news outlet was launched by a $1 million “gift” from the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (BINLEA), another “State Department” subsidiary.
So what does all of this really mean? The Trump-HATING CIA founded a foreign news organization, and then used that media outlet to convince the public President Trump should be impeached.
This is treason.
