Americans have long trusted our health institutions to protect our families, our children, and our future. But in recent years, that trust has been shaken. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, once seen as a pillar of science and safety, is now under close review. And rightly so.
This month, the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, or ACIP, began a long-overdue review of the COVID-19 vaccines. These vaccines were rushed to the public during a time of fear and uncertainty. Many Americans took them because they thought they had no choice. But now, the truth is coming to light. Concerns that were once brushed aside as “misinformation” are finally being taken seriously.
The committee is looking into how long the COVID vaccine components stay in the body. This includes the mRNA itself, the spike protein it produces, and the lipid nanoparticles used to deliver it. For years, we were told these parts would disappear quickly. But new studies suggest they may last much longer than first claimed. What does this mean for the long-term health of those who took the shots, especially children and young adults? That question remains unanswered.
There are also worries about the purity of the vaccines. Some batches may have contained trace amounts of DNA, which could pose risks we still don’t fully understand. Add to that the effects of repeated booster shots and the rising number of vaccine-related injuries, and it becomes clear: this review is not only necessary, it’s urgent.
The CDC, under new leadership, is finally starting to correct course. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has stepped in with bold action. He ordered the CDC to stop recommending COVID shots for healthy children and pregnant women. That’s a major shift from the old policy, which pushed the vaccine for everyone, no matter their age or health status. Kennedy also replaced the entire ACIP panel with new members—people who are not afraid to ask hard questions.
Retsef Levi, a respected professor from MIT, is now leading the work group. He has spoken out in the past about the risks of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, and now he is in a position to dig deeper. Alongside him are other brave voices like Dr. Robert Malone and Dr. James Pagano. These are not politicians or bureaucrats—they are scientists with the courage to speak the truth.
This is about more than vaccines. It’s about restoring trust. For too long, Americans were told to “follow the science,” even when the science was unclear or politically controlled. Now, we have a chance to bring real transparency and accountability to a system that lost its way.
We must also remember the cost of these mistakes. Families who trusted the system are now dealing with side effects, illnesses, and even deaths. Young athletes with heart problems. Mothers with complications. Children who never needed the shot in the first place. These stories are real. And they matter.
The upcoming meetings of the ACIP will be watched closely. The next one is scheduled for later this month, and another in October. These meetings are an opportunity to finally admit what went wrong, and to make sure it never happens again.
The American people deserve the truth. We deserve policies based on real science—not politics, not profit, and not fear. The CDC’s new path is a hopeful sign, but the road to healing is still long. Only by standing firm in our values—faith, family, and freedom—can we rebuild what was lost.
Let us pray that those now in charge do not waste this moment. For the sake of our children, our health, and our nation, it’s time to put people before politics and facts before pride. The truth is rising—and with it, so must we.
