The Democrats have made some absolutely ridiculous claims about “Maga Extremists” over the past few years but this might just be the most insane one to date.
In a recent piece published by far-left magazine “Salon,” the outlet claims that the greatest threat to the United States today is not Hamas or any other terror groups – but ‘White Christian Republicans.’
Even as the FBI has repeatedly issued warnings that Hamas and other sympathizing terror groups are preparing to attack innocent Americans, the liberals over at Salon are committed to spreading their anti-Republican propaganda.
Titled “MAGA and Christian nationalism: Bigger threat to America than Hamas could ever be,” the piece argues that Americans need to be worried about a “radicalized Republican party” – never mind the fact that it’s been LEFTISTS who have been committing violent criminal acts at will.
The author of the piece – a former White House Correspondent for… Playboy – seems to have a particular hatred of newly elected Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and his Christian beliefs.
“While the world burns, Johnson and the MAGA wing of the Republican Party — which seems to have swallowed the evangelical movement while also embracing it (a T-1000 morphing into Sarah Connor is just about the right image) — is embracing the darkest verses of the Bible, apparently pushing for apocalypse with an enthusiasm only rivaled by Saul’s slaughter of Christians before he changed his name to Paul,” he writes.
According to the author, Mike Johnson and the “MAGA Wing” of the GOP are now determined to bring about a Christian theocracy.
“The House of Representatives, now run by Johnson, offers a discount version of the apocalyptic orgasm the holy rollers have dreamed of for years,” he writes.
“They’ve renewed the Inquisition and seem determined to convert the U.S. into a theocracy run by people who will thump you with the Bible, but haven’t read much of it.”
Rambling on about how “evil” Republicans are, the author accuses Republicans and their voters of embracing “only the Old Testament angry God and the apocalyptic parts of Revelation brought on by ergot poisoning.”
He goes on to add that part of what makes Republicans so “dangerous” is that they “want an isolationist country surrounded by walls and dedicated to the proposition that the First Amendment guarantees them the right to worship any way they want” – what’s wrong with that?
The far-left author who is on the side of the same people that have literally been pushing censorship of conservative voices and ideas in an effort to force people to conform to the beliefs of the left, advances his warning by proclaiming that Republicans “despise free thought and independence.”
The piece is so far-off base that one would think it’s satire – but sadly there are people on the left that actually believe this nonsense.
A piece like this being published by Salon is not entirely surprising given the outlet’s disturbing history of attacking Republicans and Christians.
Back in March, the leftist magazine published a piece which insisted that Republicans were engaged in a “fascist war” against freedom and democracy, and another from last year claimed that the GOP has become a “de facto terrorist organization” as well as the “world’s largest white supremacist” group.
They have also accused “White Christians” of being “objectively evil.”

He is Playboy’s former senior White House correspondent, Brian Karem, now writing for Salon. I fail to see how he could believe that bringing HAMAS and/or Hezbollah into power in this country is going to make the world a better place, unless his idea of a better place is a world of violence and mayhem are a better way of life. Don’t forget, Muslims cheer whenever their fellow countrymen round up a group of gays and throw them off of high roofs.
