Well, well, well—look who finally got a taste of justice.
James Comey, the former FBI Director turned full-time Trump-basher and part-time Instagram cryptic-poster, has just been indicted by a federal grand jury. And not for some parking ticket nonsense. No, this is the big leagues: obstruction of justice and making false statements to Congress. That’s right, the same man who spent years lecturing America about “integrity” and “truth” is now facing up to five years behind bars for lying under oath and trying to gum up the gears of justice.
According to the Department of Justice, Comey’s indictment comes just in time—literally days before the five-year statute of limitations would have run out. His lies stem from his September 30, 2020 testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, where he apparently thought Congress was just another talk show where he could spin his tales without consequences.
But the new DOJ under Attorney General Pam Bondi isn’t playing games. In her words, “No one is above the law.” That includes former FBI directors who weaponized federal law enforcement to carry out politically motivated witch hunts. Remember, this is the same man who kicked off the so-called “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation—an absolute disaster of a probe that tried to tie President Trump to Russian officials without a shred of real evidence. After years of media hype, leaks, and hysteria, not a single charge was ever brought against Trump. Why? Because it was a hoax from the start.
And instead of being held accountable back then, Comey took a public victory lap—book deals, speaking tours, and social media posts mocking the very president he once served under. Real classy, Jim.
But the tide has turned. FBI Director Kash Patel, a man dedicated to cleaning up the mess left by politicized leadership, hit the nail on the head. “For far too long,” Patel said, “previous corrupt leadership and their enablers weaponized federal law enforcement.” He went on to say that Comey’s indictment is “another step” toward restoring trust in our institutions. Amen to that.
Let’s not forget that Comey has become one of the most shameless anti-Trump voices in the country. Just a few months ago, he posted a bizarre photo of seashells with the numbers “86 47”—something many saw as a thinly veiled threat against President Trump. “86” is slang for “get rid of,” and Trump, of course, is the 47th president. Creepy? Absolutely. Coincidence? Not likely.
President Trump, ever the statesman, made it clear he wasn’t meddling in the case. “They’re going to make a determination,” he said. “I’m not making that determination.” That’s what leadership looks like—unlike the deep state games Comey used to play behind closed doors.
This indictment isn’t just about one man. It’s about setting a new standard. It’s about telling the American people that the old rules—the ones where the elites could lie, cheat, and scheme while the rest of us took the fall—are over.
Justice may have taken a while, but it’s finally knocking on James Comey’s door.
