Communist China Buys Up the Water Supply of a New Hampshire Town

Residents in Nashua, New Hampshire, are just now learning that their city government sold much of the town’s drinking water supply to the wealthiest man in China a few months ago. Zhong Shanshan has direct ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Shanshan was allowed to purchase a massive building right next to the Pennichuck water system, supposedly to set up a bottled water plant. The Trump administration has been pushing back hard against the acquisition of US land and infrastructure by China. Here’s another purchase they might want to take a close look at.

There’s a 337,391-square-foot single-story building in Nashua that has sat empty for the past 11 years. It used to be a manufacturing plant until the globalists in the Obama regime allowed the owners to ship all the American jobs overseas. NF North America, a subsidiary of Nongfu Spring, finalized the purchase of the building on January 31 this year.

The building sits on a 23-acre site next to the town’s water supply. It’s also right next to the Nashua Airport, a Federal Aviation Administration control center, and several defense centers. Prime location.

The CCP-affiliated Shanshan owns NF North America and Nongfu Spring, which is a bottled water company. Shanshan says he plans to bottle millions of gallons of water out of the Nashua supply every year and export it out of the country. He purchased the building for $67 million, even though the Nashua city government had valued it at $15 million. That’s a good way to make local politicians shut up.

Nashua Mayor Jim Donchess says he doesn’t see any national security concerns, and that he supports the project. I’ll bet he does. $67 million for a vacant building can buy a lot of support.

Has Mayor Donchess ever cracked open a history book? What does he think the purpose of the Roman Aqueduct was in the outlying provinces the empire controlled?

At one point during the unelected Biden regime’s time in office, Communist China owned 384,000 acres of farmland in the US. Much of that was purchased near U.S. military bases and other critical infrastructure. Some of our bases are now surrounded by CCP-owned farmland. These include Fort Bragg in North Carolina, along with Camp Pendleton and Fort Irwin in California. No one believes that was just a coincidence.

For those who don’t see the significance of this, think back to very recent history. Remember that little dust-up between Israel and Iran, which ended after President Trump dropped some bunker busters? What happened on the very first night of that 12-day war?

Israel launched a bunch of drone strikes from inside Iran. The Israeli military had spent years setting up a hidden drone base inside Iran’s borders. How many years do you suppose Communist China has had to sneak drones into the United States, in preparation for a similar sneak attack if necessary?

We know from Joe Biden’s Ukraine war that drone strikes are the future of warfare. The footage of the strikes happening in Ukraine and Russia is crazy and terrifying. Now imagine hundreds of those kamikaze drones buzzing around in your suburb and blowing things up.

That is the risk that globalist leaders have allowed inside our country, by letting one of our worst adversaries buy up hundreds of thousands of acres.

The good news, even though it’s happening slowly, is that the Trump administration is starting to claw back some of these purchases. The administration has revoked CCP ownership of 119,000 acres of US farmland so far this year. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced new restrictions on land sales near US military bases.

Just two weeks ago, USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins announced a nationwide ban on all sales of agricultural land to China and other foreign adversaries. That’s a nice start, but it doesn’t go nearly far enough. You or I couldn’t buy one centimeter of dirt in Communist China, even if we wanted to.

That’s how most countries treat their farmland. I’d love to buy a hobby farm in the Faroe Islands to retire sometime in the 2030s. But you know what? I can’t. It’s next to impossible. I’d be dead from old age before the Danish government would even think about granting me special permission to buy land there. It’s that way in many other countries, but not the USA for some reason.

The people of Nashua are alarmed that a CCP-affiliated company is about to start drawing millions of gallons of water from the city’s supply every day. Yes, that’s millions of gallons every day. The Trump administration should take a closer look at this sale. It must have been really important to the CCP if Shanshan paid more than four times what the building was worth.
