The Democrats have been known to do a number of sick things with OUR tax dollars… but man, this might take the cake.
The Oakland Unified School District (OUSD) in California has been caused taking federal funds reserved for DISEASE PREVENTION and using them, instead, to finance LGBTQ student clubs and gender activism programs.
They’ve taken our tax dollars… and been using them to brainwash impressionable young children with LGBTQ propaganda….
The funds were handed to them by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) through a grant designed to reduce HIV and sexually transmitted diseases among students.
But these absolute whack job liberals thought it would be a good idea to put those dollars into things like a Genders & Sexualities Alliance (GSA) club…. whatever the hell that is.
In just a 5 year span from 2018 to 2023, OUSD received more than $3 million through the CDC’s grant program.
Roughly $60,000 of this money went towards paying staff members whose job times were “LGBTQ Liaisons,” to oversee these GSA clubs in middle and high schools.
The clubs, were supposedly created to promote “affirming” environments for LGBT students.
Later, another $50,000 was directed toward similar programs for elementary school students!
These GSA clubs are described as student-led but adult-supervised and they focus HEAVILY on topics like transgenderism, sexuality, and activism.
Schools shouldn’t be pushing this on our youth – and our federal tax dollars CERTAINLY shouldn’t be rewarding them for doing so.
In 2018 when they applied for the grant, OUSD’s stated that their key goal was to reduce “LGBTQ bullying.”
Obviously, that was a lie.
Another $20,000 of the funds were spent hiring a consultant to organize an “annual GSA Day for middle and high schools” and $10,000 was used to cover the event’s costs.
And to give you more evidence that these raging liberals are manipulating the youth, OUSD also has a notable “gender support plan,” which outlines how staff can facilitate a student’s gender transition at school without informing parents.
One parent, Erin Lee, whose child was in a GSA club at her school described the horrifying experience of being lied to by the school about what this club was doing to her kid.
“My child was lured into a confidential GSA club disguised as an Art Club in her 6th-grade classroom. She was deceived by her ‘trusted adult’ teacher about what the club entailed, and parents were completely kept in the dark about what the club really was,” she said.
“They planted seeds of distrust towards parents… They lied to her. And they lied to us,” Lee added.
Why are the Democrats so obsessed with forcing LGBTQ nonsense on our kids that they’re willing to STEAL federal funds, and lie to us about what they’re really doing?
Judges have previously ruled that schools secretly transitioning children are violating the rights of their parents.
These Democrats in America’s schools KNOW what they’re doing is wrong – they simply don’t care!
