Democrats Knew Weeks Ago That Venezuelan Gangs Had Seized Control of Colorado Apartment Buildings

What in the world is going on in Aurora, Colorado? Videos went viral last week on social media that seem to show members of the violent Tren de Aragua gang from Venezuela invading apartments in the city at gunpoint.

Rumors started swirling immediately. Some said that at least two apartment buildings had been taken over by the gang and they’re now extracting rent from the people living there.

The Democrat city leaders in Aurora, the Democrat Governor of Colorado, and the Biden-Harris regime all denied that this was happening. So, what is really going on?

The Democrats have been lying. The Denver Gazette published exclusive letters this week from the attorneys of the out-of-state owner of the apartment buildings in Aurora. Not only did the Democrats know that this violent illegal alien gang was conquering territory inside an American state—but they knew about it weeks before the public found out!

President Trump spoke about the apartment takeovers during a rally last month:

Both Aurora city officials and Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D) claimed that this was actually just an incident with an out-of-state property owner whose apartment buildings had some code violations in them. They insisted that Venezuelan gangs had not taken over the buildings—when they knew that this was happening.

The apartment buildings are owned by a company called CBZ Management, which is based in Brooklyn, NY. The company operates apartment complexes in New York and Colorado. They have 11 apartment complexes in Denver, Aurora, Pueblo, and Colorado Springs.

Attorneys for the law firm that represents CBZ Management sent a letter to Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser, a Democrat, in August. That letter stated, “Aurora Multi-Family Projects have been forcibly taken control of by gang(s) that have immigrated here from Venezuela.”

The stuff about the code violations is probably true. These apartment buildings are extremely junky. They look like crap. “Slums” is the appropriate term to describe them. The people living there are all extremely poor.

When videos of the gang members surfaced showing them invading apartments at gunpoint, Aurora city officials and Gov. Jared Polis claimed that these were “diversionary tactics” and “alternative narratives” because, according to them, CBZ Management was just ignoring the code violations.

But they knew for a fact that Venezuelan gangs had taken over these buildings.

The letter to the Attorney General’s office also stated, “The property manager for all three Aurora Multi-Family Projects was notified of the takeover and one of our clients’ housekeepers informed the property manager not to return to the Aurora Multi-Family Projects due to the danger to his well-being.”

City officials and Gov. Polis have now admitted that the apartment buildings were conquered by a foreign criminal gang—but only after they got caught.

Oh, wait! It gets even worse!

The reason why CBZ Management was writing to the Attorney General will blow your mind. Back in 2019, the Aurora Police Department encountered 23-year-old Elijah McClain as he was walking home at night from a convenience store. Elijah was a gentle violinist with autism-like symptoms and no criminal history. Police put him in a carotid chokehold as they detained him and he had a heart attack and died. His last words were, “I’m an introvert and I’m different” as Aurora PD officers were killing him.

Ever since that incident, the Aurora Police Department has been under a consent decree with the Attorney General’s office over their policing tactics. The reason why CBZ Management was writing to the Attorney General was because the Aurora PD was basically hamstrung by that consent decree. They had informed the cops that Tren de Aragua members had conquered their apartment buildings, but the cops told them there was nothing they could do because of the consent decree.

Joe Biden and Border Czar Kamala Harris have allowed one million Venezuelans into the country over the past four years. One million! Venezuela’s prisons and mental hospitals are all empty, because those people are all here right now.

Tren de Aragua just happens to be the worst of the bunch, but they are all dangerous. The lesson we should all take from this situation in Aurora is that unless we get Donald Trump back in office next year, you are on your own. No one is coming to save you. Not the police. Not the National Guard. And the politicians will lie about it as foreign soldiers point a gun in your face to extort rent money from you.
