Democrats’ Post-Midterm Plans Revealed

Remember when Trump said Democrats would impeach him if they won the midterms?

Remember when the media called that paranoid?

New Jersey Democrat Bonnie Watson Coleman just confirmed everything Trump warned about.

“If you elect Democrats to the Senate and to the House, he’ll get impeached. And that’s one way of getting rid of him.”

Not if he commits crimes. Not if evidence emerges. Just — elect us and we’ll remove him.

That’s the 2026 election, spelled out in plain English by a sitting congresswoman.

The Full Quote

Coleman was at a town hall Wednesday, ranting to constituents about how to remove Trump from office.

First she considered the 25th Amendment: “That would require the vice president and members of the cabinet to move against him, but he’s hired a bunch of lackeys, so they’re not going to execute the 25th Amendment.”

Then the real plan: “But I tell you what, if you elect Democrats to the Senate and to the House, he’ll get impeached. And that’s one way of getting rid of him.”

No pretense of high crimes. No evidence of misdemeanors. No constitutional threshold.

Just power. Get us the votes and we’ll use them to remove the president.

The Pattern Confirmed

Trump has been warning about this for months.

“They’ll find something,” he told Will Cain during an Iowa interview. “There’ll be something. I made the wrong turn at an exit, and let’s impeach him.”

He was right.

Coleman didn’t cite any specific crime Trump committed. She didn’t point to any evidence that would warrant removal. She simply promised that Democratic control of Congress equals impeachment.

The third impeachment of Donald Trump isn’t about justice. It’s about power. It always was.

The Track Record

Democrats have already proven this.

They impeached Trump over a phone call with Ukraine’s president. The transcript was released. Nothing illegal. Impeached anyway.

They impeached him again over January 6th after he told people to march “peacefully and patriotically.” Didn’t matter. Impeached anyway.

Both times the Senate acquitted him. Both times the process was the point — damage, distraction, delegitimization.

Coleman is promising a third round. Same playbook. New Congress.

The Maduro Complaint

Listen to what else Coleman complained about at her town hall.

She “ranted against the capture of Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro.”

Let that sink in. A U.S. congresswoman is upset that we captured a narco-terrorist dictator who starved his people and partnered with drug cartels.

Maduro is sitting in a Brooklyn jail cell awaiting trial on federal charges. His capture was one of the most successful operations in recent U.S. history.

And Bonnie Watson Coleman is mad about it.

The ICE Complaint

She also ranted against ICE operations.

The same operations that have removed 12,000 criminal illegal aliens from Minnesota alone. The same operations that are taking rapists, gang members, and drug dealers off American streets.

Coleman opposes them. She wants them stopped. She wants the people conducting them impeached.

This is the Democratic platform in 2026: protect dictators, protect criminal aliens, impeach Trump.

The Hamas Defense

Coleman criticized “Israeli operations against radical Islamic terrorist group Hamas.”

Hamas — the organization that massacred 1,200 Israelis on October 7th, 2023. The organization holding hostages. The organization committed to the destruction of Israel and the murder of Jews worldwide.

A Democratic congresswoman is defending them.

At this point, you have to wonder: is there any enemy of America that Democrats won’t side with?

The White House Response

The White House didn’t mince words.

“President Trump has accomplished more in one year than most Presidents accomplish in all four years — from securing the southern border to tackling Bidenflation to jumpstarting our economy to deporting criminal illegal aliens — and he’s just getting started.”

Spokeswoman Abigail Jackson continued: “Democrat threats like this are a slap in the face to the American people who are thrilled they have a President who is putting them first.”

That’s the contrast. Trump delivers results. Democrats promise revenge.

The Jeffries Silence

The Daily Caller asked House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries for comment.

He didn’t respond.

Of course he didn’t. Jeffries can’t disavow Coleman without angering his base. He can’t endorse her without confirming what Republicans are saying.

So he says nothing and hopes nobody notices.

But Coleman already said it. The plan is public. Jeffries’ silence is acquiescence.

The Previous Attempts

This isn’t the first time Democrats have tried impeachment this term.

Texas Rep. Al Green forced votes on impeachment resolutions at least twice in 2025. Both were tabled by overwhelming votes — even some Democrats recognized the political danger.

But those votes happened with Republicans controlling the House.

Give Democrats the majority, and those votes have different outcomes.

Coleman is promising exactly that.

The Noem Precedent

Democrats have already started impeachment proceedings against DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.

They’re citing the Minneapolis shootings — incidents where individuals attacked or approached federal agents and suffered consequences.

If they’ll impeach a cabinet secretary over agents defending themselves, what wouldn’t they impeach Trump for?

The Noem effort is the warm-up. The dress rehearsal. Practice for the main event.

The Stakes Clarified

Coleman did Republicans a favor.

She clarified the stakes of November 2026. No ambiguity. No interpretation required.

Democrats win = impeachment.

Not because of crimes. Not because of evidence. Because they can.

Every Republican candidate now has a ready-made closing argument: “My opponent’s party has promised to impeach the president if they win. Is that what you want Congress doing for two years?”

The Voter Choice

Voters have a clear decision.

Choose Republicans: Trump continues implementing the agenda that secured the border, captured dictators, and grew the economy.

Choose Democrats: Two years of impeachment hearings, investigations, and paralysis while criminal aliens remain in communities and policies stall.

Coleman made that choice explicit.

She thinks impeachment is a winning message. She thinks her constituents want revenge more than results.

Maybe in her New Jersey district, she’s right.

Nationwide? We’ll find out in November.

The Bottom Line

“If you elect Democrats to the Senate and to the House, he’ll get impeached. And that’s one way of getting rid of him.”

That’s not a Republican talking point. That’s a Democratic congresswoman, on video, at a town hall.

Trump warned this was their plan. The media dismissed it as paranoia. Coleman just confirmed it’s the strategy.

No crimes required. No evidence needed. Just power.

That’s what Democrats are promising voters in 2026. Impeachment. Revenge. Two years of chaos.

Or you could vote Republican and let the president keep doing his job.

The choice is yours.

November is coming.
