FBI Releases Picture of Trump Shooter’s Rifle and the Story Changes AGAIN

Illzach - France -9 June 2019 - Portrait of man with FBI uniform and bullet proof at fun car show event

The FBI has released what it claims is a picture of the rifle that Thomas Crooks used to shoot President Donald Trump at the rally in Butler, PA, last month. If it is the actual rifle, the story has changed once again.

The FBI also continues to insist that Crooks acted alone. If that is true, then why has the US Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania empaneled a criminal grand jury to investigate the shooting? Crooks is dead, so if he acted alone, who exactly is the US Attorney looking at charging?

Last week, Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) released a preliminary report from his on-the-ground investigation. He talked with local law enforcement and determined that it was actually a Butler County SWAT officer who first shot Crooks from the ground.

Higgins reported that he had been told the SWAT officer’s shot had damaged the buffer tube on the AR-15, rendering it inoperable. Higgins noted that he wouldn’t be able to confirm that until he examines the rifle.

In the picture that the FBI just released, the buffer on the rifle looks fine. The back of the stock, which was nestled against Crooks’s face as he was shooting at President Trump and the crowd, is fractured. You can see that the rifle was clearly damaged on the stock, but it doesn’t look like there’s any damage to the buffer. Maybe Rep. Higgins was given incorrect information?

Meanwhile, America First Legal is doing the job that the mainstream media refuses to do—investigate Thomas Crooks’s background. The group sent a records request to Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC). They asked the college to release Crooks’s student files and any records, documents, communication, disciplinary records, or other data containing his name.

America First Legal received a letter back from CCAC stating that all those records were now under a federal grand jury subpoena.

Wait, what? There’s a federal grand jury?

The letter stated, “The records that you have requested are within the scope of a grand jury subpoena issued to CCAC by the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and which the U.S. Attorney’s Office has confirmed relate to an ongoing criminal investigation.”

You don’t empanel a grand jury unless you are looking at charging someone with a crime.

Matthew Crooks, the father of the shooter, suddenly hired the powerhouse Quinn Logue law firm in Pittsburgh to defend him. One thing to note, however, is that Quinn Logue is not a criminal defense law firm—they’re ambulance chasers who file wrongful death suits and personal injury claims.

One extended family member spoke to the Daily Mail on condition of anonymity and told them, “The FBI still very much has questions about how much they [Crooks’s parents] knew and how he slipped through the net.”

From where we’re sitting, it looks like the FBI is wildly disinterested in getting to the bottom of this. It’s been seven weeks since the shooting and we still don’t have answers to many of the most obvious questions.

In one of the videos as the crowd is screaming about a man with a gun on the roof, who was the woman who yelled out to Thomas Crooks by name? You can clearly hear her yelling, “Thomas! No!” Who was she? Why hasn’t anyone talked to her?

Why does a 20-year-old have almost no social media footprint at all, other than a Gab account that he hadn’t used in three years?

Why did the Secret Service rip President Trump’s shoes off when they piled on top of him? If they wanted to get him out of the danger zone in a hurry, wouldn’t have been better to… you know… leave his shoes on?

How was Thomas Crooks able to “evade” the Secret Service three different times over the period of an hour and he had been flagged as “suspicious” as he was using a range finder?

Who was the mystery woman behind Trump? She appeared to send a signal in Crooks’s direction and then ducked down seven seconds before the first shots were fired. She then pops back up and starts videoing President Trump right as the shots stop. We’re told that she was not an Assistant FBI Director as first believed. Okay. Who is she, then?

And why has a federal grand jury been empaneled if Crooks truly acted alone?
