Feds on Ultra-High Alert for Threats at President Trump’s Inauguration

Washington, DC has been turned into a fortress ahead of what is expected to be the most heavily attended presidential inauguration in history. We’re not sure if we should be comforted by that or nervous, based on the fact that elements of the Biden regime have tried to kill Donald Trump at least twice since last July. We hope and pray that things will go off without a hitch.

At least 25,000 cops and more than 8,000 troops are being deployed around the Capitol for the big event and there are helicopters in the sky scanning for radiological materials.

The Department of Energy has a pair of helicopters that are equipped to scan for radiological materials and nuclear. They’ve been flying a grid pattern over DC to get a baseline for what the normal background radiation looks like. If they find anything out of the ordinary on the sensors, they send additional people on the ground to see what’s causing it.

The Nuclear Emergency Support Team (NEST) had support choppers flying low over DC for the first two weeks in December. DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, who was instrumental in helping the feds with the January 6 fake insurrection four years ago, says the city is not aware of any known, specific threats against President-elect Trump.

The FBI says it’s not aware of any specific threats, either, but the bureau has lost all credibility in this area as far as we’re concerned. The Secret Service is practicing mockups of moving the presidential motorcade through the city at an off-site location in Maryland right now.

Based on recent events, it would seem like a drone is the greatest threat they’d need to be concerned with. What precautions are they taking in that area? They’re not saying and no one is asking. An FBI spokesperson adds that a “lone actor” remains the most serious threat against the inauguration.

The fact that everyone is nervous about the inauguration and the feds’ ability to prevent an assassination attempt speaks volumes to just how much credibility they’ve lost in the past four years. Especially the FBI.

We know for a fact that the vandalism and “violence” committed on January 6, 2021, were all carried out by undercover FBI agents. Rep. Clay Higgins (R-GA) has outlined outgoing FBI Director Chris Wray’s use of “ghost buses” to ship in bad actors that day. The entire thing was staged to try to frame Donald Trump as an “insurrectionist” so they could prevent him from running for president again.

Other than a couple of pointless congressional hearings in which they got caught lying, the FBI has said nothing about the two assassination attempts of Donald Trump. They’ve provided no new information in their investigation into Thomas Matthew Crooks in the Bethel, PA, shooting. The federal courts have pushed the trial of Ryan Routh—the attempted Palm Beach golf course shooter—back to late 2025.

Why don’t we know anything new about these two attempted assassinations? Is there any item of greater public interest that’s happened in the past year that everyone wants to know about? Reporters, the FBI, and the Secret Service seem wildly disinterested. They don’t have to give specifics. They could just tell us something.

“We’re interviewing people.”

Instead, the American people are treated like mushrooms (kept in the dark, etc.). And yet these are the same people who are now tasked with protecting the life of Donald Trump and hundreds of thousands of his supporters in just a few days.

An estimated 250,000 ticketed guests are expected to attend the inauguration. Tens of thousands of additional people will be there without tickets, including the left’s usual protesters. The good news is that the protesters are unlikely to be very high in numbers this time. Democrats seem too exhausted to really put their backs into resisting Donald Trump this time around. None of their attempts to stop him have borne fruit after their little Soros-sponsored color revolution backfired in 2020.

This means the main resistance to Trump reentering the White House is coming from inside the federal government, and they’re the ones who are supposed to be protecting him. No wonder we’re all nervous.
