Former White House physician Ronny Jackson said President Joe Biden has “completely lost it,” claiming he, “Needs a cognitive exam now” in a tweet on Friday.
The video in the tweet included a reporter asking, “Are there people in the Democratic Party who want to defund the police?”
Biden responded, “Are there people in the Republican Party who think we’re sucking the blood out of kids?”
The answer also follow a CNN town hall last week featuring Biden with host Don Lemon during which the president also repeatedly struggled to offer intelligible answers.
Jackson said after the town hall event, “There’s something seriously going on with this man right now. And you know, I think that he’s either gonna, he’s either gonna resign, they’re going to convince him to resign from office at some point in the near future for medical issues, or they’re going to have to use the 25th Amendment to get rid of this man right now. There’s some serious stuff going on right now.”
The cognitive concerns are not just the focus of political attacks, but could be a real national security issue. Biden is already a nearly invisible president. If the nation faced a serious terrorist attack or was forced into war, his decision making skills would be a major concern.
The recent gaffes have led to growing rumors of Biden not lasting his full four-year term have continued to grow. While some conservatives may enjoy the thought, the alternative would include Vice President Kamala Harris stepping into a stronger leadership role, either acting as de facto president or officially taking over for Biden.
Even if Biden does make it through the next three-plus years, there is the question of 2024. Could Biden even make it through another campaign, potentially against Trump, and win again?
If Democrats believe Biden would likely lose, there may be a push for Harris, or perhaps even another Democrat, to run in the next election. The change would completely reset the political landscape with a new Democratic primary with a full cast of candidates similar to the campaign for 2020.
A narrative of Harris as the first black female president versus a Trump comeback once sounded like a titan matchup. More recently, however, Harris has become viewed as unlike and unsuccessful within her own party. The weak position could reach a tipping point if Republicans win back the House in 2022, and especially if the GOP takes back power in the Senate for the last two years of Biden’s term.
Biden would essentially become a half-term president. Democrats may push for Harris to lead then, at least giving them the “win” of a new leader in the White House for a couple of years before the next election.
In any case, Biden’s health issues are complicating matters for the left—and for America. The nation may not have like Trump’s tweets, but they were certainly no worse than Biden’s gaffes.

This was the dems plan all along. Invoke the 25th amendment on Biden and catapult Harris into the presidency. This women has the mentality of a mothball. Can you imagine her visiting North Korea or Russia? This is a lose lose situation. Get rid of one misfit and inherit another.
There is only one conclusion to arrive at,,, the obvious one BIDEN intends to return to the WH for a third term,,, actually, he is there now, by the only means available to him at this time – ‘n right on schedule,,, the America we knew may be gone forever simply because we became too soft- gave up too easily -‘n believed the wrong people.
