Republicans have an 18-month window to run wild before the midterm elections in 2026. This is a major opportunity that was squandered during President Trump’s first term in office. They control the House, Senate, and White House, so they need to make the most of it. They need to reduce the risk of more tyranny if we ever end up with a Democrat in the White House again.
One way they can do that is by repealing the FACE Act, which the unelected Biden regime has abused repeatedly to jail pro-life Americans.
The Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act was signed into law by Bill Clinton in 1994. The law was originally written to prohibit “violent, threatening, damaging, and obstructive conduct intended to injure, intimidate, or interfere with the right to seek, obtain or provide reproductive health services.” The law explicitly protects pro-life pregnancy centers, churches, and abortion clinics.
But that’s not how the Department of Justice under Merrick Garland has approached the law. After Roe v. Wade was overturned, the Biden regime ignored domestic terrorist acts and vandalism against pro-life pregnancy centers and churches. They have only used the law to prosecute peaceful Christians protesting abortion clinics. It’s more of that “prosecutorial discretion” we’re always hearing about, in which liberals pick and choose which laws to enforce and which ones to ignore.
Between 1994 and 2024, the DOJ brought federal charges in 211 FACE Act cases. 205 of those cases were against pro-life activists, and 55 of them happened during Joe Biden’s four years in office. The FBI has raided the homes of pro-life activists. They’ve arrested Christian grandmothers for praying and singing hymns. The Biden regime even arrested an 87-year-old communist concentration camp survivor.
In typical Biden regime fashion, the FBI has begun tacking on a “conspiracy against rights” charge against many of the pro-lifers. That was a 19th-century law to prosecute members of the KKK when they prevented black people from going to the polls to vote for Republicans. Abortion is so sacred to Democrats that they equate it with the right to vote. This additional charge has resulted in years-long sentences for Christian protesters.
After Roe v. Wade was overturned, a domestic terrorist group that calls itself “Jane’s Revenge” began firebombing and vandalizing pro-life pregnancy centers and churches. They smash in the windows, set the places on fire, and spray obnoxious graffiti all over the place, including the message, “Jane Was Here.”
Between May and August of 2022, the Catholic News Agency recorded 93 attacks on Catholic churches and pregnancy centers in America. When Protestant churches and pregnancy centers are included, the number shoots up to 134 terrorist attacks carried out by Jane’s Revenge. The FBI has never arrested a member of Jane’s Revenge.
The Department of Justice doesn’t care when a real domestic terror group sets a church on fire and spray paints vaginas all over it. They’re worried about these “domestic terrorists:”
BREAKING: Six pro-life activists were just found guilty in federal court after being prosecuted by Biden's DOJ under the FACE Act for protesting outside a Nashville abortion clinic.

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) and Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) introduced a bill in 2023 that would overturn the FACE Act. It didn’t go anywhere with Pelosi and Schumer in charge of the House and Senate. Now that Republicans have swept Congress and the White House, Roy says it’s time to bring the bill back up for consideration.
Police powers like this are supposed to be left to the states. When Congress passed the FACE Act in 1994, they claimed that it was justified because Roe v. Wade abortion rights were protected under the Fourteenth Amendment and the Commerce Clause of the Constitution.
(If you just thought, “Wut?” then yes, that’s how weird and unconstitutional the Roe v. Wade decision was when it was made.)
Roe v. Wade has been overturned, so there is no longer any “legal” justification for the federal government to usurp these police powers from the states. If there is a genuine attack on an abortion clinic, church, or pregnancy center, your state and local police or sheriff’s department can and will deal with it. There is no sweeping grant of police powers to the federal government under the Constitution. In fact, the Constitution was written to prevent the federal government from trampling on people with a corrupt agency like the FBI.
“Republicans are going to have to get the nerve to actually stand up for both free speech and life,” says Congressman Roy.
