The corrupt and unelected Biden-Harris regime is illegally holding Steve Bannon in prison past his release day. Bannon was supposed to have been freed from confinement on October 19th. Kamala Harris is once again showing her true colors as an overzealous prosecutor of innocent Americans.
Steve Bannon is one of the most influential pro-Trump voices in the country and it’s clear that Kamala is keeping him imprisoned just to keep him silenced before the election.
Bannon should never have been sent to prison in the first place. He was convicted of ignoring a congressional subpoena from the unlawful Liz Cheney January 6 Committee. That committee was illegally formed by then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). Pelosi refused to seat any minority Republicans on the committee and instead appointed the two biggest Trump haters in the GOP to it (Liz Cheney and former Rep. Adam Kinzinger). This was a violation of House rules on how committees are supposed to be formed.
Since the Liz Cheney Committee was an illegitimately formed legislative body, its subpoenas should have been considered invalid and moot. Steve Bannon was within his rights to ignore the subpoena from these people.
Plus, how many legitimate congressional subpoenas has Attorney General Merrick Garland dodged in the past two years without being charged with the same crime?
Bannon was selectively targeted by the Biden-Harris regime for political reasons and he was sentenced to four months in prison after being found guilty in a kangaroo court. His attorneys sent a letter to the Bureau of Prisons demanding to know why their client was not released on October 19th.
The Acting Warden at the Federal Correctional Institute (FCI) in Danbury, CT, responded to the attorneys and admitted that Bannon should have been released on October 19th. The warden says that there simply wasn’t enough time left on Bannon’s sentence to “process” him for home release.
Steve Bannon qualified for early release from prison under the First Step Act. That’s a law that was signed by America’s real president—Donald J. Trump—back in 2018.
Under the law, non-violent federal prisoners can take classes to earn credits toward early release. Bannon took enough classes to earn ten credits, which means he earned ten days off his sentence.
But instead of releasing him on October 19th, the Bureau of Prisons is keeping him behind bars until his original sentence’s end date of October 29th. The same regime that sent Bannon to prison for “breaking the law” is now breaking the law by keeping him in prison for ten extra days.
That’s par for the course for Kamala Harris, of course. She kept black marijuana offenders in prison past their release dates in California so she could use them for cheap labor for the state.
Why keep Bannon in prison past his release date? The answer is obvious.
The three biggest political podcasters in the world are Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson, and Steve Bannon. Bannon’s “War Room” podcast is often the #1-ranked podcast. The former Trump advisor has more listeners and viewers for every show than CNN or MSNBC.
If Bannon had been released ten days early, his podcast would be back on the air right now—even if he was released under home confinement. That threatens Kamala Harris’s election chances, though, so Bannon is being illegally imprisoned past his release date in true Third World banana republic style.
“The Harris Bureau of Prisons is illegally holding me past my legal release date–trying to eliminate one of President Trump’s strongest advocates–these criminals reek of desperation,” Bannon told The National Pulse in a written statement.
Bannon’s attorneys filed a motion with the court to have him “released immediately,” based upon the warden’s admission in the letter he sent to them.
Forbes reported earlier this month that the Biden-Harris regime has failed to implement the First Step Act. President Trump’s civil justice reform law is not being implemented because (supposedly) there are computer problems with calculating First Step credits.
These criminals in the Biden-Harris regime obviously look at the old gulag system in the Soviet Union with admiration. Do you realize there are still January 6 protesters who have been kept in prison for almost four years now without a trial?
We can expect a lot more of these injustices if Kamala Harris somehow wins the election this November.
