Here we go! No more speculation. We have some actual names from President Donald Trump’s short-list. These are the people who Trump is considering as his vice-presidential running mate for next year, as well some key people who he wants to serve as Cabinet secretaries.
There’s no wishful thinking here. These names are real, and these have all been confirmed by reliable sources close to Donald Trump’s inner circle. Let’s dive into the list and see what we have here.
Benedict Pence won’t be Trump’s running mate next year under any circumstances, so that leaves the vice president slot as the biggest open slot. Trump has five names on his list. Here they are, in no particular order.
Sen. JD Vance: Vance has turned out to be one of the most pleasant surprises in the era of Trump. He was a rabid “Never Trumper” in 2016, but Trump won him over with his amazing America First agenda. Vance went on to win a US Senate seat for Ohio thanks to Trump’s endorsement, and the two seem to genuinely like and trust each other now. Vance has earned the nickname “Trump’s Hammer” in the Senate, and I think we could all live with a Vance vice presidency.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders: Sarah was great as Trump’s press secretary, and she’s been even better as the new governor of Arkansas. I think she’d be a solid VP pick as well. Full disclosure, though: I did a ton of work for former Gov. Mike Huckabee’s PAC between 2010 and 2015, when we were trying to overturn Obamacare, and I know and like both of Sarah’s parents. So, I might be a little biased on that one.
Kristi Noem: Establishment GOPe. At least she was smart enough to not challenge Trump for the Republican nomination this year, when the Sea Island billionaires offered her hundreds of millions of dollars. Plus, she was one of the only Republican governors in the country who didn’t lock her state down during COVID, so she still gets high marks for that.
Kari Lake: I like Kari because she’s so mean. Plus, she’s really comfortable and quick-thinking in front of the cameras during her time as a news anchor in Arizona. The fact that she’s already announced that she’s running for Senate in Arizona makes her a big open question, though. She’d probably accept if Trump offered her the job, but what she really wants to do is clean up the dirty elections in her home state.
Tucker Carlson: Yep. He’s definitely confirmed as on the list now. Not only that, but he is Melania Trump’s first choice for her husband’s running mate, and she’s lobbying him big-time to choose Tucker. I’m guessing she can be pretty convincing.
Part of me hopes that Tucker won’t be Trump’s choice, because I appreciate having him on the outside of politics as an observer and truth-teller. On the other hand, we need Trump to choose a vice president who is going to carry the America First torch forward are Trump leaves office in 2029. Out of all the choices on this list, I think Tucker is probably “The One.” (Tucker has a net worth of more than half a billion dollars, so he’s the only one on the list who can’t be bought by special interests.)
Those are the choices for vice president. What about other Cabinet positions?
Steve Bannon is Trump’s top pick to bring back as his White House Chief of Staff. Since Jared and Ivanka won’t be back for a second term, Steve is a great choice whose loyalties will never be called into question. Plus, he’s a true believer in the movement and understands the America First agenda from a big-picture perspective.
Steven Miller will be back and in charge of steering immigration policy. That’s another great pick, since he did such a great job the first time around.
Kash Patel is being chosen to run one of the intelligence agencies in order to hamstring the Deep State. We don’t know which agency yet. It seems like the FBI would be the most obvious choice, although he’d also make a good National Security Director. Rick Grenell will be back as Trump’s Secretary of State.
That leaves one big open question: Who would be Trump’s Attorney General? We don’t have any solid names for that one, but insiders say it will be “a shocking pick.”
Let’s hope so. There are a lot of people who deserve to be in prison for what they’ve done to President Trump and his supporters.
Working on the web pays me more than $120 to $130 per hour. I learned about this activity three months ago, and since then I have earned around $15k without having any online working skills. To test it, copy

Julia: If, indeed, you are making soooooooooooooooooo much money …. there is no need to advertise in this news story. Cheapskates are one of my least favorite people !!!!!
Some great possible Dept Head choices . John Radcliffe would be fantastic in several positions, including VP. Strong, intelligent, diplomatic, great intel on international level. Ted Cruz. Jim Jordan. Matt Whitaker also all in for America First and Trump and did a great job as temp AG before. Border expert Tom Homan, former head and staunch Trump and America First Agenda supporter. Ready to come back to fix border if Trump is elected. Dr. Ben Carson great: intelligent, calm, dedicated+. I like Tim Scott but have qualms about his sensitivity and strength. He cried when his bill didn’t get through. There is no time for crying, plus Trump’s Cabinet will be working long, hard hours to keep up with Trump again; there’s a LOT that needs to be swung around to the right track from the Biden/Obama /Soros mess. Tiredness can make a person less resilient. Trump may be considering Pam Bonde for AG or Asst AG. She did a good job as Florida AG. Marsha Blackburn is tough and smart for a spot. Ben Shapiro is sharp and on top of things and an atty. But definitely an outlier. Candace Owen’s an up and comer. Larry Elder is smart and a successful businessman. Vivek Ramaswamy has abundant intelligence and energy and experienced in business. Outspoken in his passion for things to be improved. Tulsi Gabbert is great and is fed up with Dem policies and bad decisions. Very pro-America, military Vets, everyday hard-working people and need for a strong border and tough on bad immigration policies. Glad she left the Dem party; she did not fit in with them. TX AG Paxton would be strong to help IN DOJ. Also good help on Border and America First. Currently suing Pfizer.
Good selection available. One problem is we also need strong, on track people in Congress and Governorships or Trump has to do more by Exec order. We need some big changes to be on books as solid law. But harder to get.
Trump has a plethora of good people out there and ready to be good selections. Strong and solid and smart. Tough for tough times corrections.
Rumor has it Nikki Haley would like a job as head of a big section, but I strongly hope Trump passes on her for ecerything. She has positions that are NOT the best for America, is very agressively pro-war, and shows veiled signs of being a backstabbing anti-Trumper. Like Romney begged Trump for endorsement NOT GOOD. NOT A KEEPER.
My pick for Attorney General is Congresswoman Harriett Hageman from Wyoming. Yes, she’s the one that kicked crazy Liz Cheneys ass out of Congress. Oh, you haven’t followed her? Please do so now, everyday she has been challenging the likes of FBI Wray, Mayorkas, with precise strong attacks that got these “men” squirming like the little mice thay they are
Check her out. She’s what our country has lacked for far too long. Gennaro
no# one thing about Haley she is not a natural born citizen, she could possibly be in some category but not as VP period. With her beliefs she would get us into a war very quickly.
Please for the love of God, not Nikki Haley! From what I’ve heard during the debate, she’s a rino. I can almost smell them now. We have too many of those in the party now. We don’t need more.
Agreed
Agree
No Niki Haley.
Only choose outside VP
Krista Noem, Ben Carson.
ETC.
I have followed Trump a long time. If there anyone he need in his office more than other it TED CRUZ AND THOSE WHO HAD PUSH AMERICA FIRST! But please for the love of GOD DO NOT PICK NIKKI HALEY! She has show has gone which ever way the money flows. Like taking that million from a democrat supporter of Biden.
Come on folks, Niki is no where qualified for any Cabinet Level position. About as qualified as Kamala Harris. Let’s be serious.
Ted Cruz would be a great secretary of DHS and get mayorkas out of the office so the border will be secured from San Diego to Brownsville so people will have to come through the ports like they should and stop the movement of drugs, humans, and illegals from coming into the US!!!
Agreed
I would like to nominate Jim Jordan for Attorney General. Democrat heads NEED TO ROLL!!! I think Kristi Noem would be a good choice for VP. I don’t want to take any conservatives out of the Senate, we need them there!!!
Why not Trey Gowdy for AG ?! pompeo at State again??
Gowdy is such a WIMP! PLEASE!
Jim Jordan is perfect for AG. He’s a bull dog and straight shooter.
Should Trump become president, he must use Vivek. He is really a talented person with lóts of new ideas to unite Americans.
And yes, it will be a mamoth task because the extreme left are perhaps too far from loving America to change.
Nicky Hailey is sharp and can do a good job as secretary of state.
I like Vivek as well, but he it is rumored that he was not born in the United States. Kind of like the Obama birth conspiracy.
President Trump will work with those who haven’t back stab him and loyal to him. Need to play this with better trust worthy people. Yes lot of great people but not Niki or anyone who has been like Pence. President Trump and his people know who they can trust and who will be a rat for democrats and swamp. Remember those who disobeyed and betrayed our 45th President. So many swamp creatures still there to watch out for. Remember we play by swamp rules now. Enough trustworthy people are out there and those need to be in is administration. Also remember all those who were so eager to do the swamps dirty work also and gladly did it.
I might add Bill Barr to the backstabber list. He started dancing to the liberal’s tune before the smoke from the bogus election settled.
Well said! President was too trusting. Barr was out to destroy Trump’s presidency and he lived up to the dems
expectations. What a shame.
I love all of President Trump’s short listed people, but I still have one more: Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. who is running as an Independent. I’ve been a Republican all my life and I really do like him.
When Trump becomes President he needs to FIRE all those who have worked for Biden!! Every one of them!! Trump, I am sure has learned a valuable lesson when he was President! About loyalty! What was saying keep your friends close but your enemies closer? Haley is bad News! I would not hire her for anything!!
Matt Whitaker should be Trump’s AG
I like South Dakota governor to be VP. I see em but would like to NO-EM
My favorite is definitely Sarah. She has an excellent mentor in her Dad. She’s worked with Trump and he knows what she can do. Whitaker for AG or Jordan. A big no on Trey. FBI needs a vacuum taken to it to suck out the criminal element and abolish the CIA and send these illegals on a one way trip home. Stop all financial support then confiscate land purchased by China and prosecute Biden and Hellory. Tell the Palestinians to shut up and sit down and fund Israel and tell the Ukraine porn puke the bank is closed. Revoke the visa’s of all Palestinians. Send them packing. Investigate Obama and hand Soro’s over to Putin. Re-establish law and order and leave abortion to individual states. Drill baby drill. Re-open coal companies and pardon everyone incarcerated for 1/6 and investigate Cheney. Never interview with the big media only Newsmax. Last but not least leave the UN and the WHO.
Kelly, I agree with you wholeheartedly! You have stated actual facts that must be done! I couldn’t have voiced it any better…
It seems to me me that Trump would have learned the first time after he took a sitting Senator out of an occupied conservative seat, and opened it up for the seat to be filled by a Democrat. The Jeff Sessions debacle should be seared into the mind of Trump although he did state that if he had one do-over it would have been to not choose Sessions as AG. Conservative seats in government are hard enough to come by in these days of iniquity. MAGA! Merry Christmas!
President Trump’s biggest mistake the first time around was taking bad advice on hiring decisions. I think he will be more savvy this time around. He will not be fooled by Nicki Haley’s so called “smartness”. She is definitely a snake and would stab Trump in the back at every turn. She is an absolute NO.
lord i’m smilen and crying finally hearing ideas that i’ve been saying for 3-4 years.TRUMP needs to back of his old jokes and break out hard on hardcore provable facts on elections, make them proove there wasn’t fraud. Also he needs to emphasize that he can’t do it by himself! can’t put him in office and radicals in congress.enforce laws passed by congress and put some teath in punishments.biden and ass. need to be prosicuted .Trump cscrewed up by not prosicuting Hillery that opened up coruption.
Great stuff. We need Ted Cruz & Jim Jordan as AG; the one not chosen should be Sec Homeland Sec. Kristi Noem for VP – Sec of State, Vivek Ramaswamy or Sarah Huckabee-Sanders would be solid selections.
Trump should add me on his list and perhaps 9 others so they will not consider him having a short “list” which may sound like he cannot get more on the list. I am no in favor of some of the ones on the list. some have had different jobs in government and it is time for them to retire.
Sarah Huckabee-Sanders would be a great VP for Trump and a natural for first female president post Trump. Vivek Ramaswamy has a lot of good ideas, but his Soros connection has not been adequately explained. Definite No for Nikki Haley. Yes to Ted Cruz or Tim Jordan for first AG to clean up (GUT) DOJ and after that he could be slated to replace Clarence Thomas (who wishes to retire) on the Supreme Court. General Michael Flynn (blackmailed by the FBI) should be placed in charge of the FBI. Ben Carson or Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for FDA head. Last but not least, I’m down with “tell the Ukraine porn puke the bank is closed. Revoke the visa’s of all Palestinians. Send them packing. Investigate Obama and hand Soros over to Putin. Re-establish law and order and leave abortion to individual states. Drill baby drill.”
Sarah Palin, would be a good choice.
For AG and who really knows the Constitution ,like no other. Mark LEVIN!!!!!!!!!!!
Sarah Huckabee Sanders would be a GREAT choice!
Ken Paxton would be a great AG but we don’t want to give him up. We would like him for our Governor
