Joe Biden has fully embraced his role as an authoritarian dictator so much so that he is now openly BRAGGING about how he thinks he is more powerful than America’s highest court.
In a recent speech Joe patted himself on the back for DEFYING the U.S. Supreme Court by continuing to cancel student loan debt – despite the court ruling that his obvious vote-buying-scheme was unconstitutional.
“I promised we’d help eliminate accumulated student debt that millions of Americans carried during the economic pandemic and beyond,” Biden said. “The Supreme Court of the United States blocked me, but they didn’t stop me,” he continued claiming to have outsmarted them by finding “another way” to continue canceling student debt.
In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court canceled Biden’s radical plan to cancel $430 billion in student loan debt for some 43 million Americans – stopping Joe from forcing American tax-payers to pay for votes that would keep him in power.
During his recent speech, the delusional Democrat also plainly lied to the by saying his pricey student loan forgiveness efforts weren’t costing the tax-payers anything.
After SCOTUS ruled against him, Biden’s White House criticized the decision by saying that the ruling “closed one path” to student debt cancellation – but insisted that Biden would find another way to place this tremendous fiscal burden on the tax-payer.
Since then, the Biden administration has continued to cancel debt for specific groups of federal student loan borrowers by conveniently tweaking and expanding rules under existing relief programs.
In the recent speech Biden referenced this and said he “fixed” one of the existing programs to allow for more cancellations and he had every intention of taking credit for it to boost his miserable 2024 election chances.
“This time, they’re not going to have any doubt about who sent it to you. It’s going to have my name on it—Biden,” he said.
So far, Joe has defied the court by cancelling (forcing tax-payers to take on) $136 billion worth of debt and he has no intention of slowing down.
“I mean it, we’ve got another $25 billion a year” in the pipeline he said.
Then somehow, Joe had the audacity to claim that this fiscally destructive move was not only “growing the economy” but was “not costing people” anything.
But the president’s words were downright insulting to the intelligence of the American people and many didn’t take too kindly to that.
Some social media users reacted by pointing out that this is getting paid by the hard-working Americans who had taken out loans in the past and already repaid them. Others pointed out that the massive cost of this scheme is being passed on to Americans who didn’t even go to college through nonstop inflation and higher taxes.
It’s painfully obvious even to the politically ignorant that Joe is using this student debt cancellation nonsense to buy votes in the 2024 election.
What’s worse, some strategists have suggested that even if the courts DO succeed in blocking the socialist scheme it will still provide Joe a bump in the election because some Americans will have been tricked into believing that the “evil Republicans” are to blame for them not having their loans cancelled.
