President Joe Biden has announced that by September 11, 2021, U.S. troops will be fully withdrawn from Afghanistan. It has been the longest war in our nation’s history, with 2,400 killed, 20,000 injured, and over $2 trillion in taxpayer money spent. Secretary of State Antony Blinken told NATO that the United States has accomplished its mission in Afghanistan and that it is not withdrawing prematurely.
As expected, hawks on both sides of the aisle are saying that it is too soon to pull out. But they have some valuable points. They are saying that the pull-out date of 9/11/2021 is arbitrary, and it is. They say that telling the enemy when we are leaving is strategically foolish, and it is. They also say that while our forces have been in the area, terrorist groups have reconstituted themselves right under our nose. That is also true.
The reason that enemy forces have been able to reconstitute themselves is that Afghanistan is not the place to fight them. There are too many interconnected cave networks in impossible territory. The enemy is accustomed to this territory. They do not need to carry hundreds of pounds of equipment per man to operate there. These enemies are also deeply interwoven into the fabric of the local culture where our troops cannot justifiably fight with full force. Often they have, and it has always been tragic.
This is the scenario that instigated Obama to become the leader in presidential-approved airstrikes. The drone programs continued under Trump, while Trump’s own cabinet misled him about the use of drones and the numbers of American troops on the ground.
To continue to occupy that territory and to achieve the goals we claim to pursue would require complete domination of the area. We would need to fully cover and control the mountain terrain. We would need to entirely occupy and dominate the population with full border control, checkpoints on every corner, guarded roads in, out, and around the mountain territory.
To do what we are told our troops are there to do, we would need to fully colonize and capture the entire country. We would need civilian occupation to create an economic base to tax in order to fund ongoing control. We would have to do what we did not have to will to do in Vietnam. We would have to do something that has become taboo on the global stage.
To do less than that is to throw our troops to the wolves — which is exactly what we have been doing for just short of two decades now. As our troops have been guarding the opium fields (while the opioid crisis in America skyrockets for mysterious reasons) and dying in a war designed to last forever, Washington insiders have been taking massive kickbacks from weapons contractors.
But Afghanistan is just one of America’s many forever wars by design.
Meanwhile, our young men are being thrown into a meat grinder designed not to produce peace, but to produce cash. By putting off the withdrawal date nearly half a year, Biden guarantees that there is plenty of time for an excuse to not withdraw to be created.
Whatever is happening in Afganistan is most unfortunate. But unfortunately, with Joe Biden at the helm, one can’t help being more than a little concerned as he seems unable to understand what his role in Congress is and what he should or shouldn’t do! Americans should look for another President as Biden is definitely not the man for the position!

I don’t think Biden is fit to be President and Harris is not fit to be Vice President. With everything that they have done and are planning to do there is not going to be an America to protect and be President of. The border should have been finished to keep illegals out and stop and protect America the way it should be. The pipeline should have been completed and work was STOPPED right where it was at and workers were added to the unemployment line. The Dumbercrates robbed Trump of the 2020 election and stopped him from all of the good things he was doing for the American People. Biden is making another BIG SCREW UP, he is telling the enemy when he is completely pulling all American Troops out and the exact reason. Next thing you know he will have the enemy over here in our country fighting a war KILLING LOTS OF OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY. War should never be handled the way he is. DON’T be a SCREW UP by telling the enemy when you are pulling out our troops just be intelligent ( which Biden isn’t ) and slowly pull a few out over a period of time. TO SAVE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA BIDEN AND HARRIS need to be removed and give our 45th President Donald J Trump a chance to try to fix the mistakes that have been made since January 20 th and KEEP AMERICA GREAT instead of KILLING OUT OUR COUNTRY. I should not have said all of this but it is the way I feel and until Biden takes away the Second Amendment or the whole Constitution Americans Still have FREEDOM OF SPEECH.
