MailChimp has joined social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube in censoring its users.
The mass mailing service is now warning its users that it will not allow its clients to send emails deemed to contain “false, inaccurate, or misleading” information about “important events, topics, or circumstances.” Moreover, MailChimp will, at its own discretion, decide which emails fit the above description.
A number of individuals have already been locked out of their accounts for failing to comply with MailChimp’s new policy, a devastating blow considering the fact that it can take years to collect emails that are no longer accessible when one’s MailChimp account is terminated. What’s particularly horrific about MailChimp’s decision is the fact that no guidance is provided regarding what constitutes “false, inaccurate, or misleading information.” The company has also not specified what constitutes an “important event, topic, or circumstance.”
MailChimp has also failed to specify how many people are involved in a decision to terminate someone’s account. Can a single editor lock a client out of his or her mailing list, or does it take two or three? How can the locked-out person get his or her mailing list back? After all, one’s mailing list is not MailChimp’s personal property.
It’s likely that MailChimp’s recent move is meant to target alternative journalists with conservative views. It’s also extremely likely that the company’s urge to censor user accounts won’t end there.
In 2019, MailChimp terminated accounts that belonged to anti-vaccination activists, stating that MailChimp “follows the guidance” of “leading health authorities” such as the WHO. In the future, other politically incorrect topics. At this point, it’s not hard to imagine speaking out against endless lockdowns could get a user’s account locked out forever.
The good news is that there are plenty of alternatives to MailChimp. Activists, individuals, and companies that don’t want to bow to the far-left agenda can simply take their business elsewhere, rightfully leaving MailChimp high and dry. However, the fact that a mail service now feels the need to join social media networks in limiting First Amendment rights is a dangerous sign that “cancel culture” is becoming increasingly powerful.

It seems to be time to shut these sites down. It is unconscionable that these sites, which are run by mostly liberals, have gotten too big for their britches, and have been allowed to get away with far too much!
If that is your email vehicle. I suggest you setup an account somewhere else and move your property off this service before they cancel you. Then say bye to them and if enough people do that they will send you a note about how it was an error in the system, like twitter.

How do I cancel out of MailChimp?
Just another example of large corporate enterprises treating their customers like crap. Move your email accounts elsewhere, or start encrypting your email so they can no longer read it.
A corporation providing a service like this should not be reading private correspondence while they are transporting it.

I recall the “fact checker” response on a face book post that was nothing more than a PICTURE STRAIGHT FROM THE BOX showing the manufacturers instructions and warnings about the use of their masks the so called fact checker stated it was misleading, inaccurate, or incorrect information as if they or the politician they chose as a more “reliable source” new more about the product than the manufacturer themselves. (many product warnings are a result of lawsuits)
Among the things listed in its warnings was not to wear the mask if you had respiratory issues, not to wear the mask for more than four hours, and the biggest one , this is not a medical protective mask it does not stop viruses.
This of course goes against the political propaganda being spouted by the “wear any mask 24/7 even inside your own home to stop the spread of the virus” politicians so it failed to be true according to face book despite being accurate and from the mask maker.
