The willingness of a certain “Fake News” media outlet to prop up liberal politicians accused of sexual misconduct demonstrates just how low left-wing “journalists” are willing to sink.
Roundly considered synonymous with “Fake News,” CNN has grown increasing less subtle in its double standard of claws out coverage of conservatives and protection of anyone with a “D” included in their title.
The leader in “Very Fake News,” as Pres. Trump has dubbed them, has taken a very different tone toward Democrats and Republicans about sex scandals. The troll-like headlines aimed at Alabama’s Roy Moore stand in stark contrast to the almost feel-good stance regarding congressmen Al Franken and John Conyers.
CNN Vilifies Roy Moore
Roy Moore has been a favorite target of the liberal-leaning media long before emerging as a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate. The bias of so-called “reporters” routinely slammed Moore as an Alabama judge for refusing to take the 10 Commandments down in his courtroom.
Nothing gets the Fake News media’s fangs out quite like being a devout Christian — well, maybe being a conservative…
Despite declining ratings at the Fake News Network (FNN), a recent headline revisited the amanous toward Moore by trotting this out: “Roy Moore’s Alabama court ouster rooted in credibility questions.” Any lawyer will tell you that one of the first hurdles to damaging an opposing witness is to go after their credibility.
What we know about Roy Moore is that he fancied younger women. He married an adult woman much his junior, and has been on the record saying he spent time with females under 20 with their parent’s permission. CNN launched a series of highly misleading headlines that included “Roy Moore says he first noticed his wife when she was 15 or 16 years old” and “Moore accuser: I was a 14-year-old child.”
The provocative big type used by CNN obscures things such as the fact Moore married his wife in 1985 when she was in her mid-20s. They have reared four children together during that 32-year union. In small towns across America, people pretty much notice most of the others in their community.
The other headline seems to imply Moore had sex with an underaged girl. That simply has not been proven in any way shape or form. In fact, some accusers have been linked to the Democratic party, his opponents campaign and the infamous yearbook inscription appears to be a forgery. In a last-ditch effort, CNN couldn’t get a legit A-list celebrity to speak out against Moore so they went with former NBA player Charles Barkley. He may be best remembered for throwing a flagrant elbowing into a player during the Olympic games.
“John Conyers? He’s Our Guy!”
U.S. Rep John Conyers has come under heavy fire for sexual misconduct from former aides and employees. With Conyers being African-American, many held their breath waiting for CNN to play the race card.
Much to everyone’s surprise, they just defended his right to conduct meetings with women in his underwear. It hasn’t been made clear whether the left-leaning press regards underwear meetings in Congress a First Amendment right or not. But, when former colleagues expressed profound discomfort about Conyers’ underwear, CNN penned this little beauty, “Former Conyers aide: ‘Most of us’ have seen him in his underwear.”
Despite Conyers having paid off a former employee over sexual misconduct, CNN reported that ranking House Democrat “Pelosi refuses to hit Conyers on sexual harassment allegations, calls him an ‘icon.’”
Bold words indeed from a female politician that supported Bill Clinton’s actions. Other headlines read as if Conyers has been found not guilty on all charges. These include: “Lawyer: Conyers won’t resign House seat, did not harass women,” and “Former aides defend Conyers after harassment allegations.”
The Democratic House Minority has since changed her tune and called for Conyers’ resignation — albeit very reluctantly.
When compared to the Roy Moore coverage, more Americans are likely to order “FNN” bumper stickers.
Sen. Al Franken Is Just SOOO Sorry
Apparently, Sen. Al Franken continues to garner the love and acceptance of the liberal media. Despite being caught red handed groping a woman’s breasts while she slept in a widely circulated photo, CNN has rolled out an ongoing apology propaganda campaign on behalf of the former SNL comedian.
These are just some of the Franken-friendly headlines the FNN has perpetrated:
“Al Franken apologizes for making ‘some women feel badly’ amid groping allegations”
“Franken apologizes after groping allegation”
“Al Franken wants you to know he’s very sorry. Even if it’s not clear what he’s sorry for.”
“Sen. Franken: I am tremendously sorry”
Al Franken on Capitol Hill says ‘There are no magic words that I can say to regain your trust’
The big type headlines read more like two lovers trying to make up after an argument over which silverware to use at the wedding. It’s pretty clear, given the extraordinary bias by CNN, that they are not filing for Democrat divorce. The Fake News media just wants their abusers to come home. After all, they would never do it again — right?
