Punch First, Ask About Immigration Law Later — Democrat’s Brilliant Plan Lands Her a Possible 17 Year Jail Sentence

The Department of Justice arrested a Democrat congresswoman! She’s not an important congresswoman, but at least it’s something. Baby steps, Pam Bondi. Baby steps.

If we’re being honest, we kind of didn’t expect the DOJ to file charges against Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ), even though she had punched multiple cops on camera while breaking into an ICE detention center to try to rescue all the illegal immigrants back on May 9th. But Bondi did it! McIver was indicted by a federal grand jury and arrested this week.

It’s hard to believe that McIver, a sitting congresswoman from New Jersey, went on her crime spree more than a month ago. It feels like it’s been an eternity. After DOGE and Secretary of State Marco Rubio cut off the Democrats’ USAID funding back in January, it took them several additional months to round up enough of George Soros’s cash to stage any protests against the Trump administration.

Today, there are illegal aliens wearing the jackets of a Soros-funded NGO throwing rocks at the police in Los Angeles. But last month, Democrats in Congress had to do the hard work of protesting themselves. Heaven knows, the protesters weren’t going to riot for the Democrats if they weren’t getting paid. This did not work out in LaMonica McIver’s favor.

A congressional delegation went to the ICE facility in Newark to protest the arrests of some men who like to beat their wives, sell drugs, traffic women and children and kittycat eaters. Newark Mayor Ras Baraka got there early.

Some Democrat voters had arrived to protest outside the ICE facility, but they weren’t the sort of paid professionals like we’re seeing in Seattle and L.A. now. Baraka showed up with his personal guards and told the ICE agents he was part of a “congressional delegation.”

The guards refused to let him in at first. But then the crowd started to get unruly and they were worried that Baraka would get hurt. They let him inside a secure area, but then a supervisor told Baraka multiple times that he needed to leave. For five minutes straight, they told the mayor he’d be arrested if he didn’t leave the federal facility where he had not been invited.

New Jersey Rep. LaMonica McIver and other Democrat politicians then showed up and tried to butt in. The officers took Baraka outside the secure area to try to put handcuffs on him. That’s when the Democrats charged the ICE officers and attacked them. The whole thing was on video.

Rep. McIver was impossible to miss in the footage. She was wearing a bright red jacket as if it was Trump Appreciation Day at the office. McIver and her friends swarmed in and surrounded Baraka to stop ICE from handcuffing him.

Here she is, throwing punches at cops with her big, hammy fists:

New Jersey’s bravest congresswoman was bellowing, “Haaayull no! Haaayull no!” as she and the other Democrats came to the rescue of their fellow politician. McIver threw her arms around Mayor Baraka in an embrace to prevent a Homeland Security Inspections Special Agent from handcuffing him.

As we all know, Members of Congress are allowed to punch cops when they’re on official congressional business. It says so right in the Constitution.

Oh, wait. I think I got that wrong.

Yeah, I got it wrong. Sorry. You’re actually NOT allowed to ever punch cops when you’re in Congress, whether it’s for official business or not.

Rep. McIver faces three counts of a blanket charge known as Assaulting, Resisting, Impeding, and Interfering with a Federal Officer. It probably saves a lot of paperwork by lumping all those crimes together.

This story gets even funnier when you realize that this was the same crime that they falsely charged a bunch of January 6ers with.

At any rate, a sitting Member of Congress faces up to 17 years in prison for punching cops and federal agents while trying to rescue illegal aliens.

Now there’s a big test in front of House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA). Republicans in Congress eagerly expelled former Rep. George Santos (R-NY) when he was facing a potential seven years in prison for crimes he was accused of. Will they kick LaMonica McIver out of the House, after she committed much more serious crimes on camera?
