More than 40 left-wing organizations are opposing a Republican-led effort to prevent noncitizens from voting in American elections, and the man behind it all – of course – is George Soros.
Soros is a far-left Hungarian-born billionaire who has poured a virtually limitless amount of cash into American politics while admitting that “Destroying America will be the culmination of his life’s work.”
What a better way to destroy a country than to flood it with illegal aliens whose loyalties lie with the country they fled, and then let those illegals vote on policies and representatives in the country they’re occupying?
This is exactly what Soros and his Democrat pals are doing.
The left-wing orgs are fighting against a piece of legislation known as the SAVE Act, which aims to eliminate fraud from our elections, requiring actual proof of citizenship to register to vote in America… which is somehow “controversial” in the eyes of Democrats.
Obviously it’s already illegal for noncitizens to vote but that certainly hasn’t stopped them from doing so in the past. The goal of the SAVE Act is to completely slam the door shut and eliminate their ability to even register to vote.
These Soros-backed groups are claiming that they’re in opposition to the bill out of a concern for “civil and human rights” but the truth of the matter is they’re being paid to oppose it because illegal voting is the only way Democrats remain in power.
The 40 organizations in question have received upwards of $150 million collectively from George Soros and his Open Society Foundations.
On March 28, the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights (LCCHR) released a letter directed at members of Congress, asking them to oppose the GOP-sponsored SAVE Act.
LCCHR “serves as an umbrella organization for over 200 mostly left-wing organizations which lobby and advocate before Congress and other federal agencies on legislation and Presidential appointments to the executive departments and judiciary,” according to InfluenceWatch.
The organizations that signed this letter claimed, in a flat-out lie, that the SAVE Act, “represents a shameful, divisive attempt to prevent millions of eligible U.S. citizens — disproportionately Latinos, Asian Americans, Native Americans, and other voters of color — from registering to vote.”
They went on to argue that asking people to prove their citizenship before registering to vote was “designed to restrict voter participation.” These leftists are the same people who claimed that minorities were “too dumb” to use computers so it’s not exactly surprising to see them take this approach.
Many of those organizations who signed the letter are bankrolled by Soros’ Open Society Foundation (OSF) – including the umbrella group that drafted the letter in the first place.
According to the OSF database, LCCHR has received 13 grants totaling $7.72 million from the Open Society Action Fund from 2016-2023. One of these grants, distributed in 2016, totals $150,000 and was given to LCCHR to “support policy advocacy” related to so-called “voting rights” — which these days is synonymous among leftists with pushing for less secure voting policies.
Another group, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc., has received $17,914,500 from the Open Society network from 2016-2022. Notably, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund was gifted a one-year $200,000 grant in 2022 with the stated purpose of “implement[ing] and develop[ing] an innovative campaign to defend and protect antiracism education, critical race theory and advance justice for all.”
And the list just goes on and on, long enough to make it clear that this opposition to the SAVE Act is almost complete bought and paid for by George Soros – presumably as part of his life’s mission to “destroy America.”
