The Liberal Media is Going Above and Beyond to Sanctify George Floyd

Everyone agrees that the photo of the prone black man George Floyd with the knee of a policemen on his neck was shocking. The picture has become a rallying cry for left-wing social justice warriors and anarchist Antifa thugs and race-baiting Democrats.

“See?” they gloat, “The white police establishment want to keep their knee on our necks. Abolish the police! Spend the money in poor black neighborhoods!”

George Floyd, who was 6’4” and under the influence of drugs at the time of his arrest for passing a counterfeit 20-dollar bill, has now morphed into an icon rivaling that other thug and revolutionary Che Guevara.

How Guevara can even remotely be considered heroic is beyond the imagination of most normal folks. See why in Fontova’s book with the pithy title, “Exposing the Real Che Guevara: And the Useful Idiots Who Idolize him.”

Likewise, there are indeed many useful idiots of the left, mainly the mainstream media, who are idolizing George Floyd. A career criminal, Floyd at the time of his death in police custody had reached middle age where most men stop committing serious crimes.

As a younger man back in 2007, Floyd served four years in prison for aggravated robbery and a home invasion. During that invasion he pointed his weapon at the stomach of his female victim, while ransacking her home for drugs.

Prior to serving time in a Texas prison, Floyd was a frequent inmate at Texas jails for drug possession, criminal trespassing, and theft. His rap sheet shows nine arrests.

George Floyd’s legend is that he was a gentle giant who only wanted to turn his life around. As one liberal news article puts it, “George Floyd moved to Minneapolis in 2014 for a fresh start after being released from prison…Floyd had turned his life around but died…after a white officer knelt on his neck arresting him for allegedly passing a fake $20 bill.” (Never mind the continued drug use and the whole resisting arrest thing.)

Besides, the article continues, “None of the officers could have been aware of Floyd’s more than decade-old criminal history at the time of the arrest.” Well, except for the fact that the arresting officers acted on a report that Floyd was committing a federal crime, they probably were aware that this muscular “gentle giant” was an obvious physical threat.

The best evidence is that Floyd’s calm demeanor and gentility was due to self-medication. The prosecution’s medical experts say that it wasn’t drugs that killed Floyd. It was the lack of oxygen that brought on asphyxia and heart failure, not just the drugs. (Actually, it could have been a combination of both.)

What remains is the sad conclusion that Floyd died in police custody. He may have panicked at the thought of being jailed again and, like most unarmed suspects who end up on the pavement, he refused to cooperate with the arresting officers.

Everyone mourns and regrets a life wasted and lost. The video of the incident is truly shameful and embarrassing to all Americans. But the fact remains: George Floyd was no hero. He has already been used as an excuse for rioting and violence in American cities. That is the true tragedy of his wasted life.

  1. The truth about George Floyd is he died of an OVERDOSE. This sham of a trial is just the left trying to get rid of the police so the ones that put them into office can run a mock without any checks and balances

  2. People watching the video don’t know George Floyds background and criminal history. All they saw was the video with him on the ground with a white police officer with his knee in his neck. George Floyd resisted the police from the very beginning. He didn’t cooperate with the police. The problem is Officer Chauvin didn’t remove his knee from Floyds neck. I think Officer Chauvin committed a bigger crime. He should have sat Floyd upright so that he could breath. Chauvin should have called for backup and a police van for George Floyd, since he was so big and resisting.

    • Similar situations occur all the time because some folks break the law, then resist the police putting everybody including themselves at risk. But many of the non participants think the cops should just let them go. These bastards as well as the News Media is responsible for a lot of the violent aftermath occurrences. In short they are just as guilty as the common criminal by promoting anti police resentment and fostering violent reactions all over the country. I say arrest the lying two faced bastards who promote violence with their lies and exaggerations.

  3. The video shows the knee was not on his neck, but his back. His breathing was not restricted and he didn’t die of suffocation or blood restriction. He died of an overdose. He was in distress before he was ever brought to the ground. The police are probably guilt of negligence in not following some procedure for people in drug induced distress. There is certainly no intent to commit murder. There is certainly nothing racist about this whole thing. If the mere fact that the police happened to be white is enough to convict him for murder, there is no justice left.

  4. this incident has given an excuse for all the stupid people to do stupid things. if it was a black cop and a white criminal it would have never made headlines. as i go through life i am seeing the most racist people are black Americans. if they want to stop cops from arresting them, then maybe they should stop committing crimes.

  5. I feel the same way as Leonard woodson feels.that the whole thing is all about people commuting the crimes and not doing as police officers tell them.and the racist things are all generated from the blacks them selves.when this happens in reverse.where a black officer kills a white criminal there is never no rioting looting burning down buildings.but when it is a white officer doing that to a black criminal.it is racist.i am so tired of this racist stuff.it happens in every situation that I have encountered in the last couple of years.wgen you go into a store.people are saying if I was white you would not of done that.because I am black you treat me wrong.the blacks always use the race stuff all the time.i my self was in a store in my home town.there were 2 African American ladies standing in the self check out aisle when I asked the 4 times if any of the self check outs did cash or was they all credit.they ignored me and laughed at me.a African American lady asked them and one of the ladies said to her follow me I will fix one so it will take cash.i said that was so rude.i have been asking you 4 times and you ignored me.the lady working self check out said to me do not like it go somewhere else and shop.i said I was calling the manager tomorrow.she laughed and said go a head.i came in to the store the next day and the manager said there is nothing I can do.this is an issue we deal with everyday African Americans feel singled out and this is their way of fighting back to this racist world

  6. The riots have nothing to do with George Floyd. That is the smoke screen. This is a communist insurgency. As with all insurgencies to stop one must get between them & their support. We pretty much know who’s funding them because they’ve bragged about it. That said, arrest, prosecute,&seize the assets & remove citizen status & deport one of them. The rest lose all assets & spend next 20 years in jail. Soros&Steger are two of them. They are subversive seditionists. Treason charges would be appropriate.
