The America First policies ushered in an unprecedented age of prosperity for U.S. oil as the nation finally achieved energy independence. But a perfect storm of Russian and Saudi Arabia engaging in a crude dust-up that flooded the market and the COVID-19 pandemic shuttering global economies has U.S. oil on the ropes.
Recognizing that domestic crude production is both a driving economic engine and national security issue, President Donald Trump is fully prepared to buoy U.S. oil through these uncertain times.
“We will never let the great U.S. Oil & Gas Industry down,” President Trump reportedly tweeted. “I have instructed the Secretary of Energy and Secretary of the Treasury to formulate a plan which will make funds available so that these very important companies and jobs will be secured long into the future!”
On the other side of the aisle, Democrats want to drive a stake through the heart of the industry, purging thousands of American jobs and returning the country to reliance on the whims of Middle Eastern radicals. Upwards of 30 House Democrats and nine senators have introduced a measure that would expressly block oil companies from receiving federal stimulus funds.
“It would be unconscionable to bail out big oil and gas corporations,” bill sponsor Rep. Nanette Diaz Barragan of California reportedly said.
Joining Rep. Barragan on the big oil hit is a laundry list of the most radicalized Democrats in Congress, including New York Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), anti-Semite Rep. Ilhan Omar, Rep. Pramila Jayapal, Sen. Bernie Sanders, and Sen. Elizabeth “Fauxcahontas” Warren, among others.
Democrats already blocked funding for the Trump Administration to replenish the nation’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve. The president requested $3 billion to fulfill the national security mandate that is currently low. Liberals are also including a cap on reserves in the recent bill, despite the fact the population and demand have grown.
Left-wing extremists are not only trying to cut off any lifeline available for these huge employers to keep workers in place and avoid bankruptcy, but a high-level pressure campaign is also being waged against financial institutions as well. Reports have surfaced that major banks are refusing to fund oil-drilling projects due to left-wing pressure.
“You think this is a cost-free action? Let’s see about that,” Alaska Sen. Dan Sullivan reportedly said of banks denying loans to oil companies. “The federal government fully supports these guys across the board in so many ways, including a bailout 15 years ago. Now they get to pick and choose who’s favored and who’s not favored in the U.S. economy based on what? Political pressure that they get at cocktail parties in Manhattan?”
The senator refers to the fact that Climate Change cultists have repeatedly decried drilling or pipelines on American soil. While the alternative is being vulnerable to foreign powers or risky offshore oil rigs, logic has escaped the liberal extremists’ reasons to impede U.S. production. Areas in Alaska that are being opened for drilling would garner upwards of 16 billion barrels and make America the most dominant energy exporter by far.
“They’re afraid of the radical left. You shouldn’t be afraid of the radical left,” President Trump said. “You cannot be discriminating against these great energy companies.”
On this pivotal issue that could mean the difference between economic resurgence and debilitating recession, Democrats are actively working against U.S. oil, prosperity, and hard-working American families.
I think plain and simple they want to help kill the job so that Trump loses them or support because of the drop of job loss that’s why! They just want to destroy his economy so that they can make him look bad in any way possible and the energy sector goes against their global warming hoax but they have perpetrated on the World to try to sell their leftist policies and their socialist agenda to create a global a society where our country is subservient to the United Nations or they can create a dictator for the world which Obama’s very much interested in but we must put him to hang for his treason in this country first so that he never makes it that far! Well, the democrats provided millions in the CARES act to the airlines, refugee and migrant assistance, the Kennedy Center, wealthy universities, just to name a few. Our own oil at reasonable rates for us is ever so much more important for the health of our daily lives than any of the things they actually included that were NOT the small businesses and families hurt most by the shutdown (the supposed purpose of that bill). All the democrats are huge hypocrites and have no shame about it.
Tell these fascists if they find a cost effective alternate source of energy, trot it on out. The wind turbines cost more to run than energy put out, and the lubricant they leak poison the soil around them. Solar panels must be replaced about the same time they are paid for.
