Trump Urges GOP Senate Not to Raise Taxes

Former President Donald Trump did more for the cause of peace than any American president in a hundred years or more. He also did more for working-class people, and for black Americans as well… lest we forget. Well, the Big Man may not be in the White House anymore, but he’s still doing everything he can to work for the American people.

Last week, he stood before Senate Republicans and urged them to oppose Biden’s push to levy a heavier tax burden on corporations and the wealthiest Americans. He said, “Republicans in the U.S. Senate must not in any way, shape, or form increase taxes that were won in the TRUMP TAX CUT, the largest in the history of our country.”

As usual, Democrats criticized Trump as being concerned only about the rich. They pretend to forget that his tax cuts helped working-class and poor people as well. By giving big businesses the leverage they needed to expand, Trump created jobs by proxy. This is a man who made his fortune in construction — not by swinging a hammer, but by hiring teams, companies, contractors and delegating. That’s what job creators do: they hire, delegate, and sign checks.

Trump continued, saying, “It’s what made our economy grow. Democrats want major tax increases to pay for their phony infrastructure bill, where over 90% of the money goes to the ridiculous Green New Deal, which will destroy our economy. My tax cuts were a great achievement. They were a great victory for our Nation. Do not increase them one penny. Republicans must learn to fight these vicious, Radical Left Democrats who are destroying lives and destroying our Country!”

President Joe Biden recently signed an agreement with more than 30 nations designed to stop corporations from avoiding taxes by leaving the country. Imagine leaving the country to escape heavy taxation only to find that the country you fled to has signed on to such an agreement…

It’s a difficult thing to understand unless we remember that the federal income tax did not exist before World War I. We were promised the taxation would end after we defeated the evil German aggressors. But the taxation never did end. Today, most of us have forgotten the fact that taxation is based on a broken promise, and now Americans are being hounded across the globe to pay them.

Consider the case of software magnate, John McAfee. He defied the IRS and was recently found dead in a Mexican jail under suspicious circumstances. Consider the Boston Tea Party, when Americans revolted against British taxation in amounts that pale in comparison to the taxes that are now extorted from honest families and working people every single day.

Trump’s tax cuts were a step in the right direction, and his willingness to continue to promote the right of Americans to keep more of their earnings is not in vain. We are grateful to President Trump for doing more than any living president to restore the dream of the Founders, and we hope his example will inspire you as it inspires us.
