As we approached late September 2025, the Deep State must have been feeling very smug. Kash Patel was focused on arresting drug cartels. Pam Bondi had recently put in her 11,000th appearance on Fox News. Absolutely no one of significance on the political left had been arrested. Sure, John Bolton’s house was raided, but he was never going to be charged, right? But then, President Trump removed Joe Biden’s US Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia (EDVA) and replaced him with Lindsay Halligan. And BAM! Halligan has secured two major criminal indictments in just two weeks. First, James Comey, and now, New York Attorney General Letitia James.
Just two days ago, we noted that the prosecutor in the EDVA was dragging her feet on the Letitia James mortgage fraud case. She had bragged to colleagues that she was going to drag the case out for another three weeks and then inform interim US Attorney Halligan that there was “no case” against James. It looks like she shouldn’t have shot her mouth off like that.

Two weeks to the day after James Comey was indicted for lying to Congress and obstructing a congressional investigation, Halligan’s office handed down a two-count indictment against the Attorney General of one of our largest states, New York.
Letitia James has been indicted on one count of federal bank fraud and one count of making false statements to a financial institution. James faces a maximum sentence of up to 60 years in prison and $2 million in fines.
According to the charging documents, James purchased a home in Norfolk, Virginia, in 2021. She secured a loan for the property from OVM Financial (Old Virginia Mortgage / AnnieMac). James signed paperwork saying she was purchasing the home to live in, so she could secure a 3.000% interest rate on it.
The feds say Letitia James never lived in the home. She rented it to a family of 3. Charging documents indicate that the interest rate would have been 3.815% if James had been honest and stated that it was going to be a rental property. By defrauding the bank over this purchase, the federal government alleges that New York’s Attorney General personally profited by about $19,000 over the life of the loan.
If Pam Bondi has any career instincts whatsoever, she should be paying close attention to what just happened.
The statute of limitations was about to expire on former FBI Director James Comey. Lindsey Halligan took the evidence that the DOJ had and presented it to a grand jury.
Boom! Two-count indictment!
A prosecutor in the office bragged that she wasn’t going to indict Letitia James. The very next day, Halligan presented the evidence to a grand jury.

Do you see how easy that was, Pam Bondi? It turns out that when you don’t spend every waking moment focused on your hair and makeup for your next Fox News “hit,” you can actually accomplish President Donald Trump’s agenda! We voted for this!
President Trump’s voters are done with the fun and games in DC. If you’re going to “own the libs” by being sarcastic to Democrat Senators in committee hearings, you’d better have some RESULTS to back that up. We’re sick and tired of the two-tiered system of justice, in which people like James Comey and Letitia James can break the law and get away with it.
Pam Bondi needs to move faster. We have a historic opportunity to restore law and order in this country and smash the Deep State. But that will only happen if we have an Attorney General who is willing to do the work.
Lindsey Halligan indicted a former FBI Director after she was only on the job for two days. James Comey thought he was untouchable. That arrogant, smarmy little man carried out a coup against a sitting US President for partisan political reasons. Letitia James thought she was untouchable. She’s the Attorney General of New York, for goodness’ sake! No one was ever going to look at her mortgage paperwork!
This is how these people have operated. With Pam Bondi in charge, they had every reason to believe that the same old arrangement that they’d lived by for decades, with one side untouchable by the law, was going to continue.
They were wrong. John Bolton will be indicted soon. Former FBI Director Christopher Wray and a bunch of other Deep Staters are under investigation.
Both Pam Bondi and Lindsay Halligan have served as personal attorneys for President Trump in the past. It looks like Trump picked the wrong lawyer to be the Attorney General.
