Liberal extremist members of the so-called “Squad” recently renewed calls to disband police departments and let chaos reign.
Following the accidental shooting death of a suspect who broke away from police and fled while being handcuffed, Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, erupted in riots, looting, and street violence in the name of Black Lives Matter. The officer who said she believed she drew a taser already resigned before the district attorney charged her with manslaughter. The Brooklyn Center Police Chief followed suit.
Apologies for a fatal mistake, heartfelt resignations, and criminal charges mean little to radicalized Democrats. They want to watch the country they hate burn, and that’s precisely what will happen if they get their way. Members of New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s “Squad” lit up social media with accusations and calls to eliminate police departments.
“It wasn’t an accident. Policing in our country is inherently & intentionally racist. Daunte Wright was met with aggression & violence,” Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib reportedly tweeted. “I am done with those who condone government-funded murder. No more policing, incarceration, and militarization.”
“From slave patrols to traffic stops,” Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley reportedly tweeted.
These liberal extremists were quick to dismiss pertinent facts to cloud the public’s judgment. The 20-year-old Black man who died was being arrested when he forcibly broke loose. A 25-year police veteran tried to deploy her taser, but the struggle apparently resulted in her drawing a firearm in error. Had he not resisted arrest and fled in an automobile, an escalation of force would not have been necessary. While tragic, the fake news media fails to paint a complete picture that the victim was also a violent criminal.
Members of the Squad like to talk a big game and garner headlines. But long-standing party leaders seem to be distancing themselves. After the social media blitz of anti-police rhetoric, House Majority Whip James Clyburn found himself backed into a corner. During a recent appearance on a left-wing propaganda segment called CNN Tonight that included partisan hack Don Lemon, Clyburn had to balance a gentle denunciation of the Squad while appearing sympathetic to fellow Democrats.
“We’ve got to have police officers,” Rep. Clyburn reportedly said. “(Rep. Tlaib) knows what’s going on in and around Detroit. That is one thing. But I come out of a culture where people honor the police, but they want good policing.”
Detroit Police Chief James Craig responded in kind to Rep. Tlaib’s attack on law enforcement. The veteran African-American law enforcement official didn’t pull any punches with regard to the Squad members’ over-the-top tweets. He started by calling Tlaib’s remarks a “disgusting knee-jerk response.”
“To say policing should be abolished gives no consideration to the people who live in our neighborhoods who rely on police to provide service,” Chief Craig said. “What happens to those folks? What about the victims? The people who live in our city don’t want to abolish the police, so the million-dollar question is: Who does (Tlaib) represent?”
I hope their security details quit.
Total meaningless BS, just like everything else the “Radical Socialists” espouse. Good luck with that Joey. The Majority of conservative States will never comply with such stupid maneuvers. The “Clowns” cannot control our States with garbage policies and the Patriots will never abide by worthless legislation. The Federal Government Corporation as it stands, (Joe Biden’s Administration) is defunct, as is the Congress under that same defunct Corporation. Nothing they pass would hold any real authority, especially if they inject Unconstitutional Legislation……just blow those lunatics off and just understand that President Trump will be back shortly to take command and restore the Republic……
