The term “treasonous conspiracy” is being tossed about a lot this week, after Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard issued a criminal referral to the Department of Justice against Barack Obama. Americans are excited at the prospect of the SOBs who fabricated the Russia-Russia-Russia hoax finally facing justice for their crimes.
Some are hoping that Barack Obama will face the death penalty because his crimes were not just against Donald Trump. They were against the United States. We have good news and bad news for those who want Obama to pay the ultimate price.
The bad news is that there is no “treasonous conspiracy” statute on the books. The good news is that Obama could potentially be charged with a number of serious crimes that could result in him dying in prison and never breathing free air in the outside world again.
I’d be willing to settle for that!
We don’t know what charges Gabbard’s criminal referral recommends for Barack Obama, James Clapper, John Brennan, the heavily-tranquilized Hillary Clinton, or the other co-conspirators. But we can speculate on what they could potentially be charged with—and that’s not looking good for Team Obama.
One potential crime, which Gabbard has hinted at, is 18 U.S.C. § 242 – Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law. The FBI violated the Fourth Amendment rights of Donald Trump, Carter Page, George Papadopoulos, and the entire Trump family and campaign by spying on them without legitimate warrants. There was never any intelligence to suggest that any of these individuals had “colluded” with Russia to hack the 2016 election.
That crime carries a penalty of up to 1 year in prison.
Next, the co-conspirators in the Obama regime could be charged with 18 U.S.C. § 1001 – False Statements. This one seems like a slam dunk. Every hack on Team Obama lied about the Russia hoax, including Barack Obama.
The lies these people told were incredible whoppers that had wide-ranging aftershocks. In late December 2016, Barack Obama expelled 35 Russian diplomats from the US. He shut down the two main Russian embassies on the East Coast—one in New York and one in Washington, DC. Obama did this under completely false pretenses, while muttering vague platitudes about a “cyber-attack against the US” that never happened. That’s just one of the incredible false statements that these criminals issued.
That crime carries a 5-year prison sentence.
They could also potentially be charged with 18 U.S.C. § 371 – Conspiracy to Commit Offense or Defraud the U.S. Every person involved in the Russia hoax knew that it was false. There were no Russians and no collusion with Russians by the Trump campaign. They all lied, and they all knew they were lying.
That crime carries another max sentence of 5 years. So, a criminal conviction on those three federal crimes could result in a maximum of 11 years behind bars. Not bad. But here’s where it could get very interesting and very funny.
The DOJ could charge all the co-conspirators under 18 U.S.C. § 793 – Mishandling Classified Information. That’s the same crime that the Biden DOJ charged Donald Trump with, after the Mar-a-Lago raid!
Did these people mishandle classified documents? You betcha! And Tulsi Gabbard has proven this conclusively.
The Obama-ites all knew that there was zero intelligence in 2016 that indicated Russia intended to hack the election, or that it even had the capability. They knew this. Obama ordered then-CIA Director John Brennan to throw that Intelligence Community Assessment in the trash and replace it with a new ICA that used the Clinton campaign’s fake Russian potty dossier as evidence. Obama also ordered the CIA and the FBI to leak the contents of that classified ICA to the Fake News Media.
That sounds an awful lot like mishandling classified documents, doesn’t it?
It might be difficult for the DOJ to prove intent to harm the United States under 18 U.S.C. § 793, but if they could… that carries a sentence of life in prison. Obama, Hillary, and the rest of that “allegedly” drug-addicted crew deserve to spend the rest of their lives in prison, at a minimum.
