In 2015, a liberal-controlled Supreme Court said they found a “right” to homosexual marriage in the Constitution. Has America gotten better since we started down that slippery slope? We’ve got men having filming themselves having anal sex in the US Senate chambers, and the same people who claimed they were oppressed by not being able to get married now want to chop your child’s genitals up in freakish experimental surgeries masquerading as “gender affirming care.” So… no, we’re not better off overall.
Fortunately, there’s now a court case out of Kentucky that might make its way to the Supreme Court this year that will likely overturn this whole shit show.
The case that the liberal Supreme Court used to legalize gay marriages was Obergefell v. Hodges. The same year that the ruling came down, Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis refused to abide by it out of religious principle. Davis said men cannot marry men, women cannot marry women, and she refused to issue marriage licenses to people applying for them.
Naturally, Davis was assailed as the female version of Hitler and the liberal lawfare brigade went after her. Two dudes named David Ermold and David Moore applied for a marriage license in Rowan County. Davis refused to issue it to them, declaring that it was a violation of her rights to do so. The two Davids could have driven to any neighboring county in Kentucky and gotten a license, but that’s not how the Rainbow Mafia works in this country. The rights of the individual are now subverted and crushed for the big gay agenda.
The case drew national attention and Kim Davis was sued over and over again. One judge ordered her to issue marriage licenses to gays. Davis instead spent five days in jail for contempt of court. Her attorneys argued that the legal doctrine of qualified immunity shielded her from liability for refusing to issue the pretend licenses. The plaintiffs argued that she was a tyrant, trampling on their constitutional rights from her high perch in the Rowan County Clerk’s office.
Here we are eight years later, and a federal District Court has ruled that for not issuing a piece of paper to David Ermold and David Moore, Kim Davis must pay $360,000 in damages and for not believing in gay marriage.
$360,000!
That includes $260,000 in attorney fees for the rainbow lawyers who sued her, and $100,000 in damages to a gay couple that wanted a marriage license from her. The absurdity of the dollar amount compared to what Kim Davis actually did (refusing to fill out a piece of paper because it violated her religious conscience) tells you everything you need to know about this case.
The Liberty Counsel is representing her and plans to take Davis’s case to the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and eventually to the US Supreme Court. This is exactly the type of case needed for the Supreme Court to be able to do a review of the Obergefell decision and overturn it once and for all, which Justice Clarence Thomas has hinted he wants to do.
As far as gay marriage being “constitutional,” that would be news to George Washington. He publicly declared that the crime of homosexuality should be viewed “with Abhorrence and Detestation.” When a lieutenant in the Continental Army was convicted of attempting to sodomize another soldier, Washington ordered the man “to be drummed out of Camp tomorrow morning by all the Drummers and Fifers in the Army never to return.”
The American people have never supported gay marriage at any point when they were allowed to vote on it. Prior to Obergefell, every state where they attempted to legalize gay marriages at the ballot box defeated the idea. Even in liberal California there was a 52% majority of voters who said no to gay marriage.
The Kim Davis case is one that features the religious liberty of one little individual. That is exactly the sort of case that Clarence Thomas and the other conservative justices are on the bench to decide. Many of us never thought that Roe v. Wade would be overturned and were pleasantly surprised when it happened. We may get another surprise later this year when it comes to Obergefell.

All gays should be told to read the good news in 1Cor 6:10-11. 2000 year ago gays in Corinth heard and believed the goepel and were born again, and God returned them to normal “male and female” the way He created them (Gen 5:1-2) and prepared their sous to go to heaven.

Those two gay men should not have been aloud to take Kim Davis to court they said she was trampling on thier constitutional rights and sued her !! Will it looks like they where aloud to tramp all over her constitutional rights !! They should of been told to go to another place snd get their license and not be aloud to sue !! I am ok with gay people i am friend’s with some as long as they don’t want to change their sex im fine with it.
