CNN Admits Climate Change Fear Is Fizzling Out

If it feels like climate change hysteria has been shoved down your throat for the past 30 years, you’re not alone—and you’re not wrong. The so-called “climate crisis” has been one of the Left’s favorite scare tactic for decades. In 2019, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez declared the “world is going to end in 12 years.” But according to recent data—even from CNN, of all places—the American people just aren’t buying it.

CNN’s own data analyst, Harry Enten, flat-out admitted that climate change fearmongering “has not really worked with the American people.” Let that sink in. After billions spent on propaganda, classroom indoctrination, Hollywood lectures, and UN scolding sessions, the public is shrugging their shoulders and going about their lives. Shocking, right?

Enten pointed to polling numbers that reveal just how little people’s concern about climate change has changed over time. In 1989, 35% of Americans said they were “greatly worried” about climate change. In 2000, it was 40%. In 2020, it crept up to 46%. And now, in 2025, it has dropped back down to 40%, right where it was 25 years ago. In other words, despite all the alarms and panic, the needle hasn’t moved. The American people have had just about enough of this doomsday nonsense.

Even more telling, Enten pointed out that only 17% of Democrats—Democrats!—believe climate change will make staying in their homes harder. If the people who are supposed to be the most terrified aren’t even worried, what does that tell you? It tells you the climate cult is running out of steam.

And now, even Bill Gates—the billionaire who’s spent years (and many hundreds of millions of dollars) telling us the planet is about to turn into a fireball—has softened his tune. In a recent online post, Gates admitted that while climate change may have some effects, “it will not lead to humanity’s demise.” His new message? People will still be able to “live and thrive in most places on Earth.”

Well, how about that? After years of claiming climate change was worse than COVID, Gates is now walking it all back. Maybe it’s because he’s finally listening to the data? Or maybe it’s because people are too busy worrying about real problems—like inflation, crime, and broken families—to care about the temperature rising half a degree over 100 years.

CNN anchor John Berman even admitted on air that this softening alarmism by Gates “does seem to be a shift” either in public opinion or in what the so-called “experts” are telling us. Either way, the jig is up on the climate change con.

President Donald J. Trump has been saying this all along. He’s called climate change “the biggest con job ever perpetrated on the world,” and he’s right. You can watch the truth come straight from the man himself.

Trump pulled America out of the disastrous Paris Climate Accord because he knew it was a scam to punish working families while letting countries like China, India and Brazil pollute freely. He put American energy first. He brought back coal, supported oil and gas, and made sure we weren’t dependent on foreign nations for power.

Climate alarmism has always been about control—controlling what we eat, how we drive, where we live, and how much we’re allowed to consume. It’s not about saving the planet. It’s about building a global socialist system where elites fly private jets while telling you to ride a bicycle.

But Americans are waking up. The facts are on our side. And with President Trump back in office, the climate cult is finally losing its grip on the national conversation.

It’s time to stop being afraid of the weather and start rebuilding a strong, free, and energy-independent America.
