The Trump administration had been secretly planning to conduct ICE raids in Los Angeles before the end of February. Unfortunately, the Los Angeles Times reported the details of the plan on Friday. Illegal aliens now have plenty of time to go into hiding or prepare to shoot back at ICE agents when they come to arrest them.
How did the LA Times figure out this was going to happen? According to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, corrupt agents at the FBI leaked a secret memo about the raids to the newspaper.
Really allow that to sink in for a moment.
The FBI, which is supposed to be protecting Americans from criminals, leaked details about upcoming ICE raids to a newspaper to protect criminals. This is partly the Republican-controlled Senate’s fault.
The Senate Judiciary Committee was supposed to vote on Kash Patel’s confirmation as the new FBI Director last Thursday. They instead allowed Democrats to throw up a procedural block on Patel’s nomination. The Judiciary Committee won’t be voting on Patel’s confirmation until sometime late this week. Who knows when the full Senate will get around to confirming him?
President Trump has an interim FBI Director running the joint in the meantime, but the current crop of corrupt agents obviously doesn’t fear him. They do fear Kash Patel.
The ICE raids in Los Angeles were supposed to be a joint effort between ICE, the FBI, and the Drug Enforcement Agency. As DHS Secretary, Kristi Noem is President Trump’s top boss over ICE and the DEA. The FBI is under the authority of the DOJ and newly sworn-in Attorney General Pam Bondi.
Bondi really hasn’t done anything yet to start cleaning up the criminal FBI organization. Maybe she’s waiting for Kash Patel to come along and be the bad guy?
For now, the ICE raids in Los Angeles have been canceled. President Trump’s deportation operations are off to a dismal start.
According to the latest figures, ICE only managed to arrest 11,000 illegal aliens for deportation in the first 18 days of the Trump administration. That number is so embarrassingly low that ICE is no longer publishing daily arrest totals. Instead, they’re only highlighting the most notorious criminals that they’re arresting. At the current rate, Border Czar Tom Homan’s efforts will only result in the deportation of slightly fewer than 1 million illegal aliens in four years.
That is weak. Flaccid. PATHETIC.
None of us voted for Donald Trump to deport a measly 1 million illegals in four years. There were 21 million illegal aliens in the United States the first time that Trump took office in 2017. Somewhere around 20 million were allowed in during the Biden regime’s time in office. That puts the most conservative estimate at 41 million illegal aliens in our country, gobbling up resources, overcrowding our schools and hospitals, driving up rent and mortgage prices, and stealing from taxpayers social services.
We were promised “the largest deportation operation in history.” That is why we voted for President Trump.
Pakistan is currently deporting illegal aliens from Afghanistan at a much faster rate than ICE under Tom Homan. As we reported previously, the Eisenhower administration rounded up and expelled nearly every illegal alien in America in a six-month period. They arrested and deported 3 million Mexican nationals who were in the country illegally, using only 1954 technology. If it had been necessary to continue that pace, they could have deported 24 million illegal aliens in four years.
None of us voted for Donald Trump to see only 2.4% of illegal aliens deported in four years. We need millions of illegals removed before we see the prices of resources for us start to roll back prices.
Pointing out these failures does not make us anti-Trump. We love President Trump. His reelection likely saved America from bankruptcy and a civil war. But getting the illegal aliens out is central to the survival of this country going forward. This is too important of a task to not succeed. And we want him to succeed. If Border Czar Tom Homan doesn’t have the chops to get the job done, then he should be replaced immediately by someone who can.
As for the corrupt FBI, any agents who leaked details of the ICE raid to the LA Times should be arrested before the end of this week. Anything less than swift justice for that agent (or agents) will only encourage lawlessness from the other crooks in the bureau. ICE should also stop working with the FBI until Kash Patel becomes the Director and starts cleaning it up.
