The Democratic party is in such complete shambles that they’re calling in their socialist buddies from across the pond to help them out – openly relying on a foreign country to influence America’s presidential race!
While Democrat campaigns are typically known for having a strong ground game in elections, Democratic nominee Vice President Kamala Harris seems to be running one of the worst campaigns ever, which, combined with her utter incompetence, has left her unable to gain any ground in crucial battleground states.
Now the Democrats are desperate, willing to do anything to keep President Donald Trump out of office and that includes calling upon a foreign nation to tell Americans how to vote.
Britain’s far-left socialist Labour Party has agreed to send nearly 100 staff to the United States to help get Kamala Harris elected in those must win swing states.
These British socialists will head to places like North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Wisconsin and Virginia, according to Sofia Patel, head of operations for the party.
Patel served in field operations for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (D) and her failed 2016 presidential campaign.
“I have 10 spots available for anyone available to head to the battleground state of North Carolina – we will sort your housing,” Patel said in a LinkedIn post, requesting that people reach her at the email “[email protected].”
Isn’t it rather ironic that the Democratic party – who has been trying to paint themselves as the party protecting against foreign interference in our elections – is desperately relying on a bunch of foreigners to get people to back their failing candidate?
Election law expert Hans von Spakovsky said in an email to the Federalist, “From the standpoint of public relations, the Democrat Party has been the loudest complainer about ‘foreign interference’ in elections, starting with their false claims about Trump and the Russian government.”
“Yet, here they are accepting volunteers from a foreign political party? They are obviously soliciting and accepting foreign interference,” he pointed out.
The Labour Party insists that participants are paying for their travel and working on their own time but Patel’s LinkedIn post that talks about “sorting participants housing” suggests otherwise.
Republican Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-WI) said he wants to know who is ACTUALLY paying these UK socialists to work for Kamala Harris because if they find evidence of that then there is CLEARLY a violation of campaign finance laws.
This sort of thing has been an issue in the past. In 2016, the leftist Australian Labor Party recruited volunteers for Sen. Bernie Sanders (D) presidential campaign and ran into campaign finance law problems when they paid the volunteers a stipend and picked up the tabs for their travel.
The Democrats are so desperate to win that they just might have broken the law!
