One of the short-term goals of the Trump administration is to bring about a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine. When Diaper Joe and Heels-Up Harris started the Ukraine War in 2022 through an act of reckless provocation against Russia, it disrupted the global supply chain for fertilizer. Ending the war will lower food prices for Americans.
It’s been interesting to watch as delegations from the End-the-War Team in the Trump administration met with the Ukrainians, and a Keep-the-War-Going Forever Team of traitorous US Senators. We have to say, we were extremely impressed with Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s demeanor in the talks.
In the past three years of this completely needless war, we’ve never been able to get an honest accounting from the incompetent Biden regime about how much US taxpayer money was used to line the pockets of the corrupt Ukrainian politicians and military leaders. The highest estimate we saw at any point was $187 billion. Now that the Trump administration has taken over, we’ve learned that it was nearly twice that much–$350 billion.
Ukraine has been the most corrupt nation in Europe ever since the fall of the Soviet Union. Some Ukrainian people are nice, but most of the politicians, government employees, and military leaders are on the take. Everyone on both sides of the aisle knows this.
If you travel anywhere in Europe right now and see a person driving into town in one of the most expensive and exotic luxury cars, there’s a 99% chance that person is a Ukrainian living large on your tax dollars. They stay in the finest suites in the most luxurious hotels. They buy the most expensive mansions in countries that are not Ukraine and spend tons of money in expensive boutique stores.
In December 2022, Mrs. Zelensky traveled to Paris to do her Christmas shopping. Keep in mind that Ukraine is the poorest country in Europe. As the “president” of Ukraine, Mrs. Zelensky’s husband has a take-home salary of about $50,000 USD a year. Mrs. Zelensky spent $30,000 on Christmas gifts in just one Parisian boutique. That was the only store where Breitbart was able to get the employees to confess to how much she was spending. She went shopping at a lot of additional stores.
Where do you suppose she got that money? For that matter, where did the Zelensky’s get the money to buy the former summer estate of Prince Charles and Princess Diana in the UK, at a price tag of about $18 million? They also bought a luxury island resort in Cyprus for an undisclosed sum. Those seem like tough mortgage payments to make on a $50,000-a-year salary.
Everyone in the Ukraine government is living like this on your tax dollars, while they’ve sent close to a million Ukrainian men to the slaughter. No one knows Zelensky’s post-war net worth, but it’s estimated to be around $20 million. That seems extremely low based on how he’s living and gobbling up foreign luxury real estate properties.
By comparison, Vice President JD Vance wrote a New York Times bestselling book and sold the movie rights to Hollywood. He has a net worth of around $10 million. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has a net worth of about $400,000, which is actually reasonable for someone who’s been a US Senator for a few years (compare Rubio’s net worth to Chuck Schumer or Mitch McConnell sometime).
Watch as the Trump delegation sits down to meet with the Ukrainians to start the peace process. Keep an eye on the body language of everyone from the Trump team, especially Rubio:
Marco Rubio looks like he wants to kill every single one of those Ukrainian criminals. Slowly. With a hammer. The dude is ice cold—which is exactly what we want promoting US interests in these talks.
Compare that to the bipartisan delegation of US Senators who immediately rushed to Ukraine to meet with Zelensky. Lindsey Graham, Sheldon Whitehouse, Chris Murphy, Roger Wicker, Joni Ernst, Elissa Slotkin, Adam Schiff, John Cornyn, Jeanne Shaheen, Chris Coons, Thom Tillis, Chris Van Hollen, and Joni Ernst all look like they would hurl themselves at Zelensky’s feet and start passionately sucking on his toes in gratitude.
The Trump team of delegates is working on behalf of American interests in ending this terrible war.
