Trump, Zelenskyy, and the Justifiable and Long-Overdue End of NATO

One of the most amazing diplomatic spectacles in history played out live in front of television cameras and the whole world last Friday. What a time to be alive! Not only did President Donald Trump kick Ukraine’s shrimpy little dictator out of the White House. He then fed Vladimir Zelenskyy’s special diplomatic lunch to the White House staff and refused to pay for the Ukrainian delegation’s hotel rooms.

Whether you believe that Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance were the victors in that exchange or Zelenskyy says a lot about what type of American you are.

Zelenskyy was supposed to come to Washington, DC, on Friday to shake a few hands and sign a mineral rights deal with the president, and to agree to a ceasefire with Russia. He showed up dressed the same way he’s always dressed when he comes to America. Scummy.

He couldn’t be bothered to put on a jacket, let alone a jacket and tie. He dressed—as usual—like a strip club manager when coming to meet the leader of the free world. The only thing missing was a gold chain around his neck.

The Enemy of the People media all claimed that Zelenskyy was the big victor of the White House scuffle after he basically consigned his own country to being turned into an ashtray by the Russian army.

The Independent’s headline read, “Zelenskyy has laid bare the ugly truth about Trump, the Godfather President.”

Newsweek: “Zelenskyy Rebukes Trump’s Call for Russian Ceasefire to His Face.”

First of all, Zelenskyy would need a stepladder to get in Donald Trump’s face…

Axios and Politico are direct news competitors in the DC beltway, but they had nearly identical headlines that read: “The free world needs a new leader: Allies defend Zelenskyy after Trump debacle.”

What a big hero Zelenskyy is! Our European “allies” are aghast because Donald Trump thinks that ending the killing in a brutal three-year war is more important than keeping their money-laundering gravy train going.

Norway has announced that it will no longer be refueling US Navy ships because Orange Man Bad. Great Britain has announced a 100-year commitment to support Ukraine militarily and financially. For the next hundred years! Prime Minister Kier Starmer then sent Zelenskyy a $2 billion aid package. Uh… that’s less than 1 percent of what the American taxpayers have poured into Joe Biden’s Stupid War.

France and the UK have tried to insert their insignificant little nations into the peace negotiations. They say they’re committed to sending troops to defend a sort of “demilitarized zone” between Ukraine and Russia, sort of like what they have in North and South Korea.

It’s easy to see what those sneaky European globalists are up to. As soon as they get their tiny little armies on the ground, they’ll deliberately provoke the Russians. Once the shooting starts, they’ll wave NATO’s Article 5 around and demand that American troops come to save them—and then we’ve been dragged into World War 3. Trump obviously sees this coming.

Remaining in NATO will simply put America at existential risk. The people running the European nations are evil and irrational. They’re impossible to deal with in an honest fashion. It’s time for America to pull out of NATO completely and they’re giving us the perfect opportunity to do so. They won’t even gas up our ships, so let’s bring ALL the troops home from Europe.

Trump hinted at as much on Truth Social on Monday morning:

“We should spend less time worrying about Putin, and more time worrying about migrant rape gangs, drug lords, murderers, and people from mental institutions entering our Country – So that we don’t end up like Europe!”

NATO should have disbanded 30 years ago when the Soviet Union dissolved and ceased to exist. It does America no good financially or militarily to continue in that relationship. Most of our NATO “friends” charge American companies more than 100% in tariffs and value-added taxes (VAT) while we charge their companies nothing. And they want to get us into an existential war with Vladimir Putin, who has done nothing to us other than offer better trade relations and peace for more than two decades.

None of the media outlets have reported on it, but Zelenskyy called Vice President JD Vance a “bitch” under his breath in Ukrainian on Friday during his little outburst. Vladimir Putin has never done anything that disrespectful to America. Putin wants peace and Zelenskyy wants your money. Donald Trump campaigned and won the 2024 election as the peacemaker candidate. If the European scum want a war with Russia, they’re going to have to fight it on their own.
