If you tell someone these days that there are forces that are running the entire planet that want to kill the vast majority of the world’s population – they will look at you like you have lost your mind.
But look at any video or document that comes slithering out of the World Economic Forum (WEF), and it is quite clear that these people hate us all and think we simply are not needed and have no right to exist because of it.
Yuval Noah Harari, a top adviser to the World Economic Forum and close friend of the organization’s founder Klaus Schwab, is making headlines once again after he made some seriously disturbing comments during a recent Ted Audio Collective podcast over the weekend.
During an interview with Chris Anderson, head of Ted Talks media platform, Harari touted his ideal world, and it is nothing short of a dystopian society.
Apparently to Harari, a homosexual who has no children, human beings “are no longer part of the story of the future” because there is now artificial intelligence and other technologies to replace them with that are far more efficient.
Harari also noted that he believes that people have become disillusioned with politics and the social and economic climate, because they know that the future does not need them.
“Part of what might be going [on] is people realize — and they’re correct in thinking that, ‘The future doesn’t need me. You have all these smart people in California, in New York and in Beijing and they are planning this amazing future with artificial intelligence and bioengineering and global connectivity and whatnot and they don’t need me. Maybe if they are nice, they will throw some crumbs my way, like universal basic income.’ But it’s much worse psychologically to feel that you are useless than to feel that you are exploited,” Harari explained.
At least he admitted that a universal basic income would be throwing us all “crumbs” – this coming from a man sitting at a very, very wealthy table.
When Harari was describing what advanced technology will do for humankind, he said, “We just don’t need the vast majority of the population because the future is about developing more and more sophisticated technology like artificial intelligence, bioengineering, most people don’t contribute anything to that except perhaps for their data. And whatever people are doing that is useful, these technologies will increasingly make redundant and will make it possible to replace the people.”
In regard to new technologies, Anderson asked what people could do with their newfound free time if jobs are taken up by robots and AI.
Harari replied that “many new and exciting jobs for humans” will be created but added that the vast majority of the population will be unable to do these new jobs and “will be left behind.”
“So again, trying to desperately apply some sort of more hopeful spin on this … a lot of the jobs that are being displaced are actually kind of boring jobs that don’t really tap into the core of what the human is.” Anderson asked.
“People are really good at making lonely people not feel lonely, and pretty much anyone can do that,” he noted. “You know, communities are a mess. Pretty much anyone who lives somewhere could do, in principle, something to make a community better. They could paint a fence, or do some voluntary service, or whatever.” Anderson said.
Harari then went on to explain that third world populations will become the first to become “useless” and further explained that industrial nations like the United States, will no longer have a need for a cheap labor force, thanks to automation.
