While the Democrats are still trying to find ways to destroy America from the inside and make life harder for working class Americans, President Donald Trump is floating a proposal which is s NO BRAINER way to restore the greatness of America’s middle class – getting rid of the federal income tax!
Over the weekend President Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to say that he is working on a plan to see many people’s “Taxes substantially reduced, maybe even completely eliminated.”
“When Tariffs cut in, many people’s Income Taxes will be substantially reduced, maybe even completely eliminated. Focus will be on people making less than $200,000 a year,” Trump wrote, adding, “THE EXTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE IS HAPPENING!!!”
Why is this such a big deal? Well we have heard of this plan before, but up until now it had only been loosely mentioned as a possible idea by members of the Trump administration. The president himself had never confirmed he wanted to do this.
In this instance, President Trump is directly coming out and saying that he has set his sights on ELIMINATING the oh-so-hated federal income tax that takes food off of hard-working families’ tables.
Just think about how much more financial freedom American families would have if the federal government wasn’t constantly reaching in their pockets to hijack roughly 20% of their income.
As Trump said in his Truth Social post, “It will be a BONANZA FOR AMERICA!”
The timing of this idea could not possibly be better for President Trump either. Recent surveys have suggested that voters are feeling uneasy about how tariffs will hurt their wallets which are already stretched thin thanks to the inflationary policies of the previous administration.
A CBS News poll released on Sunday found that a staggering 60% of Americans believe the Trump administration isn’t focused enough on lowering prices and as a result, approval of his handling of the economy has dropped to 42% in his first 100 days.
Another survey conducted by nonprofit group, The Center Square, found that issues like “inflation and tariffs” have become top of mind problems for Americans, overtaking the previous pressing issue of border security (because Trump solved it.)
This survey found that concerns about inflation and high prices are a top issue for voters, with 41% saying it was among their top three issues.
33% of voters reported that tariffs were among their top three concerns while 26% said immigration was and 25% said the economy and jobs was among their biggest issues
Voters are clearly concerned about the fact that prices are still sky-high and it’s understandable considering that American’s finances are stretched to the ma, HOWEVER, tariffs are not the enemy that the media wants us to believe they are so this fear of basically taxing other countries is unwarranted.
From the very first time Trump announced the creation of an “External Revenue Service” while on the campaign trail in 2024 its been clear that THIS was his goal all along – to force our crooked trade partners like China to play a fair game, and then pass those savings along to the American people by having them pay significantly less in taxes.
Aside from a crazy communist who wants to give all of their money from the government… who WOULDN’T support abolishing the income tax?! This would be a huge win for middle class families.
