Democrats Use SVB Collapse to Institute MORE Censorship on American People

After the Twitter files confirmed everyone’s suspicions that the Democrats, Big Tech, and Federal agencies were all colluding to censor the truth from Americans you would think the Democrats would at least back off a bit and let some of the heat die down before launching their next censorship effort – but apparently they’re doing the exact OPPOSITE!

Leftists in our government are instead trying to NORMALIZE censorship, making it a “normal” tool used by the American government to control the flow of information.

With fear that the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank might lead to a widespread run on the banks, Democrats naturally jumped to censor people before things could get to that point!

During a conference call with representatives from the Federal Reserve, Treasury Department, and the Federal Deposit and Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) asked if there were any social media censorship tools they could deploy to prevent Americans from getting scared and making a run on the banks.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) confirmed that the Democratic senator was the one pushing for censorship. After the conference call, he wrote, “Just got off of a zoom meeting with Fed, Treasury, FDIC, House, and Senate. A Democrat Senator essentially asked whether there was a program in place to censor information on social media that could lead to a run on the banks.”

Massie later wrote that Democrat Senator Kelly suggested “that government should work with social media companies to censor information that could lead to a run on banks.”

Another Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) also called out Kelly for inquiring about social media censorship as a method of the government ‘keeping the peace.’

Boebert Tweeted, “On a briefing with Biden Under Secretary of the Treasury Nellie Liang regarding the SVB BAILOUT they are working towards and a member asked if they were reaching out to Facebook and Twitter to monitor misinformation and “bad actors.” And this administration AGAIN just committed the federal government to interfere with free speech. Unacceptable!”

According to Massie, Kelly wasn’t even interested in only applying the censorship to things they deemed to be “untrue.”

Equally concerning is the fact that “The people from the three agencies couldn’t answer him and just sort of took a pass on the question,” Massie said. This means that the government almost certainly has these tools and didn’t want to admit it on a call with so many people which could leak it to the public.

Meanwhile, President Biden is again MISLEADING the American public into a false sense of security that will ultimately leave anybody who listens to him susceptible to more economic catastrophe.

Joe delivered a speech insisting “Americans can have confidence that the banking system is safe,” and that US bank regulators and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen took “immediate” action to stop contagion among small and medium-sized banks following the Friday collapse of Silicon Valley Bank.

Clearly the administration is trying to avoid panic by selling this garbage narrative that everything is “just dandy!”
