Whatever happened to Great Britain? Oh, right. Globalism, mass immigration from the Third World to dilute the voting power of the native population, and one-party rule by Communist left-wingers. That’s what happened. The entire country is falling apart, and police are now arresting the native-born British for complaining about the problems on social media. Well over 10,000 people are being arrested every year for complaining about major societal problems like rape gangs, stabbing attacks, and unsolved murders.
According to a new report by Big Brother Watch, freedom of speech is basically dead in the UK. The police can’t manage to solve the Third World gang rapes that take place on a daily basis, but if a Brit posts a complaint on Facebook about their sons or daughters being victimized, the cops show up immediately.
It’s hard to even pin down the number of people who are actually being arrested for online speech, because many police departments are refusing to comply with Freedom of Information requests. Watchdogs were able to compile reports from 39 police precincts for 2024, which showed 9,700 arrests. The true number is likely well north of 12,000 annually.
One of the most high-profile arrests in 2025 happened when comedian Graham Linehan showed up at Heathrow Airport. Five police officers were waiting for him. They arrested him for three tweets he had made on X over a year ago, criticizing liberal gender insanity.
A 71-year-old retired police officer was recorded taunting a pro-Hamas activist during a protest. He was identified using facial recognition. Cops showed up at his home and arrested him while taunting his “very Brexity” book collection.
When two parents sent a sarcastic email to their children’s school administrators, they were subjected to a pre-dawn raid. The cops kicked in their door, handcuffed them, and carted them off to jail in front of their screaming child.
It’s terrifying when you realize that this would be happening in America right now if the 2024 election had turned out differently.
The UK is now spiraling out of control due to mass immigration and the crime that always accompanies it. Yet the ruling class’s main concern is shutting up anyone who complains on the internet about their incompetence. So much for the “democracy” that the EU elites are always talking about.

To put the UK’s scandalous descent into Communist thought policing in perspective, Iran only arrests about 100 people annually for things they say online. Remember Vladimir Putin? He’s supposed to be the most “evil dictator” in the universe, according to Lindsay Graham. Putin’s government arrests fewer than 400 people for speech annually, and most of those arrests are of people issuing violent threats online. Red China only arrests about 1,500 people per year for online speech.
How is it that Great Britain is arresting 10 times as many people as Xi Jinping every year for naughty words on the internet?
The answer, of course, is mass immigration. The UK has been swamped by millions of Third World immigrants. They diluted the votes of the British people to the point where they no longer have a say in their own nation’s destiny. The government released 1,700 violent criminals (more than 90% were foreigners) in 2024 to make enough room for all the speech offenders.
In one of the saddest developments, British schools are teaching elementary students how to identify “misinformation” and “extremist” posts online, so they can call the police. They’re teaching the next generation to snitch on their parents, friends, and neighbors if they say something the government doesn’t like.
Aren’t our politicians always talking about “spreading democracy” to other countries? The UK now looks like it’s a country in desperate need of some democracy.
