President Joe Biden continues perhaps the worst first 100 days of any president in American history, and Iran just thumbed its nose at the weak-kneed Democrat’s compromise offer.
During the run-up to the 2020 elections, Biden repeatedly assured his globalist supporters the U.S. would re-enter the disastrously lopsided Iran Nuclear Deal. Like his failed immigration policy that caused a humanitarian crisis at the Southern border, he telegraphed his desire to the rogue nation.
“The proposal asks Iran to halt some of its nuclear activities, such as work on advanced centrifuges and the enrichment of uranium to 20 percent purity, in exchange for some relief from U.S. economic sanctions, said (a Biden Administration insider), who stressed that the details are still being worked out,” Politico recently reported.
Operating from a position of weakness, Biden lost all leverage to renegotiate the Obama-era debacle that allows the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism to secure a nuclear weapon. Not only did Biden and Obama grossly miscalculate the climate in the Middle East during their first stint in the White House, but now Iran’s radical leaders hold the high ground. They recently rejected a groveling compromise from the Biden even before his diplomats put it on the table.
“Tehran balked at what it saw as an unequal offer. In response, it suggested that it would halt uranium enrichment for a month in exchange for the U.S. lifting all its sanctions. The American side saw that as more of a cheeky rejoinder than a serious counter-proposal, the source reportedly stated,” according to Politico.
Although Biden has been in office for less than 100 days, the recent brush-off marks the third rejection by the Islamic Republic to date. With former President Donald Trump no longer applying maximum pressure to the radical regime, its hardline leadership appears emboldened. They have ordered Biden to return to the original agreement despite the fact Iran never honored its obligations.
“The ball is really in their court to see if they want to take the path to diplomacy and returning to compliance with the agreement,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken reportedly said.
The Democrat in the Oval Office’s inability to answer questions, remember names of his cabinet members, and falling down a flight of stairs during a wind gust complete a picture for the extremists. They perceive Biden as even weaker than Obama, who bowed and groveled to less powerful leaders. The U.S. has lost control of foreign policy and all semblance of respect across the globe. Reports indicate they appear ready to accelerate nuclear proliferation in the region.
“Iran is poised to blow through additional nuclear deal restrictions in the next few weeks,” Arms Control Association director Daryl Kimball reportedly said.
That’s largely why Iranian diplomats are putting demands on the Biden Administration they would not have dared just months ago. In fact, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif recently scoffed at Joe Biden and demanded the U.S. halt arms sales to Middle Eastern allies such as Iran and Saudi Arabia, among others. Yes, Iran is calling the shots and not Joe Biden.
