55 Percent of Democrat Voters Support Assassinating the President

Inflation shot up past 9% when the Biden regime was running the country into the ground. On Monday, April 7, just two-and-a-half months since Donald J. Trump’s triumphant return to the White House, inflation has come crashing down to 1.46%. More than 50 nations have called the White House begging to negotiate fair trading terms with the US. The southern border is locked shut. Yet despite all those improvements to the country, more than half of Democrats believe that it would be “somewhat justified” to murder the President of the United States.

New polling from the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI) shows that a majority of leftists now view political violence as a twisted form of “social justice.” Roughly 55% of self-identified liberals in the poll said that it would be “somewhat justified” to murder Donald Trump. About 48% of Democrats said it would be “somewhat justified” to murder Elon Musk.

In addition, 57.6% of Democrats said it would be an acceptable form of political protest to firebomb a Tesla dealership. Joel Finkelstein, the founder of NCRI, says that Democrats in America are undergoing a shift into a true “assassination culture.”

“Trump, Musk and others are now being openly discussed as legitimate targets, often cloaked in meme culture and gamified online dialogue,” says Finkelstein.

This is probably no surprise to anyone on the political right. We’ve been noticing the trend toward extreme violent rhetoric from the leaders of the Democrat Party ever since Donald Trump entered the race for president back in 2015.

Barack Obama, his former Attorney General Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton, “Mad Maxine” Waters, and others openly called for violence against Donald Trump, his voters, and Trump’s associates and cabinet members. The calls for violence have only gotten worse since then.

On July 8, 2024, Joe Biden told a group of Democrat donors on a private phone call that it was “time to put Trump in a bullseye.” That was just five days before Biden had the intelligence agencies shoot President Trump in the face in Butler, PA.

Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) stated last year that President Trump “has to be eliminated.”

Rep. Stacy Plaskett (D-VI) said that “Trump needs to be shot.”

In an appearance on “The View” just before the 2024 election, Crooked Hillary Clinton stated that a Trump victory “would be the end of our country as we know it.”

Aside from the leadership of the Democrat Party mouthing off, the rank-and-file leftwing voters have now begun radicalizing each other online. When Elon Musk bought Twitter and turned it into a sort-of free speech platform, Democrats fled to an alternate social media site called BlueSky.

The NCRI says that far from becoming a “safe haven” where everything is unicorns and rainbows, BlueSky is now a leftwing echo chamber where users routinely call for and celebrate political violence. Very few conservatives have bothered with BlueSky, but it’s apparently like an Al Qaeda radicalization platform for Democrats now.

“The survey results indicate that time spent on BlueSky is a significant predictor in justification of violence,” notes the NCRI.

Twitter/X is mainly a platform for discussing tariffs, making fun of trannies, and wondering why so many of our tax dollars end up in Israel. But no one is calling for violence against their political opponents on X.

On BlueSky, adoration of Luigi Mangione and calls for Donald Trump and Elon Musk to be assassinated are going viral every day. A typical comment on BlueSky goes like this:

“It would be a good time for Luigi to be freed and for Trump to then take in a show at Fords Theater.”

“BlueSky was modeled as a safe alternative to Twitter for the left, but what it’s become is an extremist platform,” says Finkelstein.

It’s hard to envision a way for our country to get out of this mess. It’s not as if Democrats want to elect leaders who are less crazy than the current ones. Chuck Schumer, the New York Democrat Senator who calls for the assassination of Supreme Court Justices, is at risk of losing his seat to an even crazier leftwinger in his next election. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) leads Schumer by double digits. Schumer is going to get clobbered if she jumps in the race.

What’s the solution to having one political party that is in favor of political violence against the rest of us?
