A record-breaking number of candidates have put their names in the hat to run for office in the House and Senate this year, which is on top of last year’s history-making numbers that got so much attention. This time, however, the congressional boom comes from Republicans side.
In 2019, 781 Republicans filed federal paperwork to run for a seat in the House, the highest number ever recorded in an odd year at the Federal Election Commission. Fox News indicated that the Republican candidates from all over the U.S. indicated they finally feel the momentum is on their side. They are all energized by President Donald Trump and the fact that he was acquitted in the impeachment trial. They are saying that the president needs fighters like them in the House to prevent the country from succumbing to “socialist” Democratic plans.
“I’m tired of seeing my president attacked every day,” said Marjorie Greene, a GOP first-time congressional candidate running for an open seat in Georgia’s 14th district. “I’m tired of seeing our future threatened. I’m tired of seeing my children’s future extremely threatened, and it’s time to get off the bench and really step up to the plate.”
Greene specifically directs her comments to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her freshman squad, and says Congress needs strong conservative women to stand up to “tyrannical socialist Democrats.”
“These are radical women that will not bend. They do not want to work across the aisle. They only want their policies of the Green New Deal, ‘Medicare-for-all’ and socialism for America,” Greene told Fox News.
“Oftentimes, it takes a woman to put another woman in her place,” said Greene added.
During the last cycle, Democrats had record-breaking numbers of candidates who filed to run for office. They gathered together and bonded over the Trump resistance movement, and the tremendous turnout enabled Democrats to take the House and attempt to remove the president from office.
Early numbers indicate that Democrats still have a seemingly excessive number of candidates, which does give them a definite fundraising advantage, however, the Republicans have hugely rebounded and are ready to dominate.
The current situation is that the Democrats are motivated to defeat Trump and win back the Senate. The Republicans are on a mission to re-elect Trump and get rid of all detractors…and recapture control of the House.
“It’s all about enthusiasm driven by the president, both negative and positive,” said Sarah Bryner, research director at the Center for Responsive Politics. “[Republicans] also saw the Democrats do it last cycle. So, they know that it is possible. They saw some seats picked off that I think shocked the party and the public. They want to get those back.”
Remember who voted FOR impeachment (ILLEGAL COUP) in BOTH HOUSES and keep “hammering away” at it during the 2020 Elections! We DON’T want any more of these TREASONISTIC Traitors in EITHER HOUSES. It’s time to take back the House and increase the majority in the Senate. All freedom loving Americans, must get out and vote these Communist/Democraps out of our government.
We’ve been watching the constant obstruction by the corrupt Democraps for 3 1/2 years trying to take out our POTUS. Their constant obstruction has slowed our economy, while they try to remove our duly elected President.
If DJT was not such a great President and strong individual, he would not have been able to withstand the constant harassment.
Inspite of the constant witch hunts, that have cost our country millions of dollars and wasted time. Our POTUS has persevered and still gotten more done in 3 years than Bathhouse Barry did in eight.
But the Democraps have done nothing for the American people during this time. They have created no new legislation to improve American lives or our country. All improvement has been due to our POTUS doing the job he was elected to get done.

I agree with the people get rid of the Democrats
The democrats may be motivated to get rid of Trump but we are motivated to keep him in office! The choices of Presidential candidates by the democrats is really scary! We have to go out and vote in November 2020 for President Trump to be re-elected in order to save our country! He is doing a terrific job despite the democrats trying to block him at every turn. Imagine what he could have accomplished if democrats had supported just some of his proposals! President Trump is tough and I don’t know if anybody else could have been able to go through what he has had to go through! Thanks democrats we will remember you and what you have done in November 2020.
With the Democrats push to totally kill America by making it a Socialist/Communist Nation like those that exist in the World today and there Citizens flee from there treasonous Country to come to America know for the Home of the Free. They even risk there lives to get here.
