The federal government under Joe Biden has completely stonewalled the family of Ashli Babbitt, the woman who was shot and killed by a police officer during the pro-Trump Capitol Hill protest on January 6.
More insultingly, the officer in question has been completely exonerated in court, and will not receive so much as a slap on the wrist for firing his weapon at an unarmed target.
Despite clear evidence to the contrary, Babbitt’s family has been told that the unnamed Capital police officer acted appropriately, and little more has been said to them concerning her strange, tragic, violent, and wrongful killing. This is unacceptable. Babbitt was a veteran who served honorably and a decorated security forces controller.
Let us be clear and final in our positioning on this topic. Ashli Babbitt did not deserve to die on January the 6th. She was not believed to have been armed before she was shot. Officers were directly behind and in front of her when the shooting occurred. That is to say that as far as the police presence at that place and time were concerned, she was fully contained and not a threat to anyone or anything. Yet she was shot in the neck, supposedly, by an officer who has not been named and is said to have fired out of surprise or panic.
Further, there are strange reports about the event. No blood was seen on Babbitt herself until after medics had her under emergency field care. If she had been fatally shot in the neck there should have been blood everywhere. There should have been blood on everyone around her. There would have been screaming and visible fear. In the video of the event, the men near and around her do not act as if a shooting just happened within feet of their persons.
To be terse, the event is bizarre and suspicious – and you can be sure of one thing – you will never learn the whole truth about the event. It will be deflected, ignored, and suspicions about the official narrative will be derided as paranoia. All of this is as common as it is appalling. But what’s worse than the persistent mystery of the event is the fact that the Federal government has done nothing to express goodwill or even common decency to Mrs. Babbitt’s grieving family.
In response to the shooting, the prominent political activist Dinesh D’Souza tweeted saying, “Imagine a left-wing Capitol protest with an unarmed black woman named #AshliBabbitt shot to death by a white police officer who was not threatened with any imminent harm. Now ask yourself what the reaction would be. Then ask if the real Ashli received equal justice under the law.”
He is right, of course. Babbitt’s case has been treated as if she were a throw away American. Indeed, under this current faux-liberal regime, all Americans who do not accept the prevailing political line are considered trash. Just as the Americans who have been left behind in Afghanistan are considered trash. Let us be mindful of the fact that the media is now calling for Trump supporters and the vaccine hesitant to be treated as terrorists. Joe Biden has said that he will “pull every lever possible” to force vaccinations on all Americans.
Let there be no mistake. If this is how they will treat Ashli Babbitt, how much worse can we expect other liberty loving people to be treated by this government?

To shoot an unarmed woman is an act of extreme cowardice. Nothing can justify that action .I am sure that cop had many non lethal alternatives available to him and chose not to use any of them .
