Since day 1 in office, President Joe Biden and his gang of buffoons have made it abundantly clear that their only goal for America, is to destroy it – and they’re not giving up yet.
One of the most obvious ways Biden and his lackeys have been trying to achieve this is by waging war on domestic U.S. energy production, sending energy costs soaring for Americans while forcing our nation to rely on foreign adversaries like Venezuela for our energy needs.
On top of being just plain stupid, this push by President Biden is also increasingly DANGEROUS as he pushes us closer and closer to a global nuclear conflict while refusing to allow us to produce the energy needed to sustain a war-time environment.
But as the end of Biden’s time in charge nears, he doesn’t appear to show any signs of easing up on his anti-American plans… President Biden made it painfully clear he does not care about the future of our country when he announced he was BANNING any new coal mining operations. This puts the entire country’s coal supply in jeopardy, as well as drives up energy prices.
To achieve this, Biden’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM) changed the Resource Management Plan (RMP) to BAN new federal coal leases AND make “48.12 billion short tons of coal unavailable for leasing consideration.”
Todd Yeager, a BLM field manager said that this decision was made “in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as a proxy for climate change,” which is just the latest example of this leftist government using “climate change” as an excuse to DESTROY this country’s energy independence and self-reliance.
This change specifically targets Wyoming’s Powder River Basin to ensure that no more leases are issued there. This is a MASSIVE deal because 40 percent of ALL of America’s coal is mined there.
Montana, which shares a border with Wyoming and whose economy is heavily reliant on coal mining has warned that this change will kill a vast amount of jobs in their state and its Governor Greg Gianforte (R) said “it’s a disaster.”
And this is EXACTLY what the Biden regime is counting on. In fact, it’s been their plan all along.
Back in April, Biden’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) bragged about their plans to slash pollution from natural gas and coal-fired plants by 90 percent by the year 2039. What this really meant was forcing 90 percent of these plants to shut down by imposing unreasonable restrictions on them.
The Democrat controlled BLM tried to claim that this is only happening because the “U.S. energy market is moving away from coal… to renewable energy sources.”
Simply put, the Democrats trying to KILL America’s already struggling coal industry, hoping to put some 42,000 Americans who work in the industry out of work.
What’s especially interesting is the fact that while Biden and his team of radical leftists have CLEARLY committed to destroying the American coal industry for good, China is seemingly going ALL IN on their own coal industry.
In the year 2023 they accounted for 95 percent of the world’s new coal power construction activity, giving them 70.2 gigawatts of new power. In the same year, Biden’s America led the world in coal plant CLOSURES with a loss of 9.7 gigawatts.
Do you see what’s happening here? The United States energy industry is intentionally being sabotaged by the Democratic party who is peddling “climate change” propaganda to justify their efforts to do so.
At the same time, China – the Democrats’ puppet masters – is ramping up energy production MASSIVELY by using those SAME ENERGY sources which Democrats are forcing us to abandon here at home!
This is yet another disgusting example of the Dems committing TREASON against America, but nobody sees it because they’re hiding it behind the “climate change” narrative.
Thankfully, pro-American energy President-Elect Donald Trump will put an end to this.
Karoline Leavitt, Trump’s incoming White House Press Secretary said, “Families have suffered under the past four years’ war on American energy, which prompted the worst inflation crisis in a generation. Voters re-elected President Trump by a resounding margin giving him a mandate to implement the promises he made on the campaign trail, including lowering energy costs for consumers.”
She continued by saying Trump “will make America energy dominant again, protect our energy jobs, and bring down the cost of living for working families.”
