Joe Biden made his handlers earn their bread when he once again shoved his foot in his mouth, suggesting that a “minor incursion” by Russia into Ukraine would be met with force.
Despite America’s southern border being left wide open for hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants, Joe’s number one concern is the border between Russia and Ukraine.
Jen Psaki released a statement, clarifying that if Russia engages with Ukraine across their border they will be met with a “swift, severe” response.
BRITISH TROOPS HAVE ARRIVED IN UKRAINE
Around 30 elite British troops have arrived in Ukraine to help train the Ukrainian military to use their gifted anti-tank weapons in preparation for a Russian invasion.
The Ranger Regiment, a Special Operations Brigade flew there on military planes and airlifted around 2000 anti-tank missile launchers.
British surveillance aircrafts have been seen, adding to the support of Ukraine by the United Kingdom.
It is understood, that the gifted military equipment, given by the British military, are the Next Generation Light Anti-Tank Weapon (NLAW) and has been described as, “the first ever single soldier missile system that rapidly knocks out any Main Battle Tank in just one shot by striking it from above”.
The operation came after Defence Secretary Ben Wallace announced that Britain would increase its military support of Ukraine, saying, “we have taken the decision to supply Ukraine with light, anti-amour, defensive weapon systems,” he said.
“A small number of UK personnel will also provide early-stage training for a short period of time, within the framework of Operation Orbital, before then returning to the UK.”
Operation Orbital was the training mission in Ukraine that was set up in 2015 following Russia’s annexation of Crimea the previous year.
Mr. Wallace added: “Let me be clear: this support is for short-range, and clearly defensive weapons capabilities; they are not strategic weapons and pose no threat to Russia.
“They are to use in self-defence and the UK personnel providing the early-stage training will return to the UK after completing it.”
The Russians, however, are not impressed and the Russian Embassy posted on Twitter to the UK: “It is crystal clear that UK shipment of lethal weapons to Ukraine will only fuel the crisis.”
In response to the military aid given to Ukraine by the U.S and U.K, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the West’s claims of Russia preparing for an invasion is being used to plot its own provocations.
“Western and Ukrainian media outlets and officials have been increasingly engaged in rumors of Russia’s pending invasion of Ukraine. This is how they formulate it. We are certain that this crusade is aimed at creating an information cover-up for preparing their own large-scale provocations, including those of a military nature, that may have the most tragic consequences for regional and global security,” the spokeswoman explained.
Moscow’s fears are confirmed by the West’s genuine inflammatory acts, the diplomat stressed.
“Britain has been delivering weapons along its Air Force military transport planes to Ukraine for several days now. At least six flights have been arranged and each plane can carry up to 77.5 tons of cargo on its board, that is, around 460 tons of armaments in total,” the spokeswoman pointed out.
The diplomat alleged that the anti-tank equipment that has been delivered to Ukraine will be used for urban warfare.
TENSIONS ARE RISING IN THE SOUTH CHINA SEAS
Naval and aerial assets were deployed by the Chinese Military, in response to a ‘freedom of navigation mission’ conducted by the guided-missile destroyer USS Benfold in the South China Sea.
Colonel Tian Junli of the People’s Liberation Army, said the passage of the ship near the Paracel Islands, “seriously violated China’s sovereignty and security” and warned that unless Washington ceases such activities, “it will bear the serious consequences of unforeseen events.”
The U.S. Navy has said they will comment through a statement they will release shortly, according to Reuters.
The Chinese have been working on land reclamation in the South China Sea, one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world. China considers this a matter of national security.
