Joe Biden’s new electric vehicle mandates have much less to do with climate change and far more to do with taking money away from conservative America while putting in the pockets of his leftist allies.
In March the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released its new emission standards for the auto industry beginning in 2027.
These new standards are the most strict EVER in the agency’s history, they force auto manufacturers to have more than 66% of all new car sales be from electric vehicles.
In 2023 electric vehicles (EV’s) made up just 8% of new car sales – making it clear Joe Biden’s EPA is trying to force the nationwide adoption of wildly unpopular, overpriced, and unreliable EV’s.
Liberal climate warriors celebrated the radical EV mandate by saying it’s an “American achievement” to celebrate.
But as energy expert Robert Bryce warns, the reality of the move is that it’s “a type of class warfare that will prevent low- and middle-income consumers from being able to afford new cars.”
This electric vehicle mandate will make the cost of ALL cars – including gas-powered ones – increase dramatically.
Of course, that won’t be problem for electric vehicle buyers who have been benefitting tremendously from tax-payer subsidies that artificially make it cheaper for them to own EV’s and will likely continue to well into the future.
In fact, one study found that if not for the government subsidies on EV purchases, the average cost of these vehicles would be $48,698 more over a 10-year period.
Given that the vast majority of EV owners are wealthy liberal elites, this means that the rest of America is being FORCED to give up their money and indirectly hand it over to the leftist EV owners.
County-level data from new vehicle registrations revealed that 50% of all new EVs sold were in the top 10% of most-Democratic counties, with 70% going to the top 25% most-Democratic counties.
On top of that, one-third of ALL EV buyers live in the liberal dystopia that is California.
Conversely, the 10 states with the least number of EVs are all red states and it’s not just about the cost. A Gallup poll revealed that 71% of Republican voters stated they would not even consider owning an electric vehicle.
Joe Biden and his draconian federal EV mandate are attempting to force the Republican half of the country – that wants nothing to do with EVs – into paying for the brainwashed Democrat half to roll around in pricey EVs while simultaneously making it impossible for those same Republicans to afford a gas-powered car for themselves.
Like anything good old Joe does, this is a blatantly Marxist move that seeks to punish anybody who has a different opinion from that of the regime, while rewarding those who fall in line like good little puppets.

Electric cars?! What a waste! I may have to thumb a ride when I must go some where. I cannot afford buying an electric vehicle or for that matter buy a new gas driven car! But I am taxed to make electric cars the only transportation available???! Pardon the pun but GIVE ME A BRAKE!
Problem, electric cars can only go so far and when you have 70-80 miles between cities they will not make it from point A to point B. There are no charging stations. If we get hit with EMP it will knock the all out anyway, so how good is electric cars?
For me I will never buy a E V for one thing they are to expensive and I live in MN. it gets pretty cold here. We are on a fixed income who can afford them in the first place. You cannot force people to buy them that is dictatorship and that’s what this country is coming to. So we need someone else so they can straighten this country out and finish the Keystrone pipeline. This whole thing is getting ridiculous.

Easy solution – stop buying cars. Keep your old cars as long as you can. 1980s cars have suddenly become very popular as they can be fixed by any halfway competent technician. The new rolling iPhones often cannot even be fixed by the dealer.
