China Launches Largest Military Violation of Taiwan Airspace with Impunity

The Chinese Communist Party took yet another aggressive military action against Taiwan since Joe Biden took office, leading many to believe war is imminent.

Tensions have increased in 2021 as China’s battleship fleet and warplanes routinely penetrate Taiwan’s territorial sovereignty. The latest escalation saw upwards of 28 aircraft penetrate deep into Taiwan with those crafts including fighter planes and bombers capable of releasing nuclear weapons. These are provocations many believe the communists would not have dared while former President Donald Trump took China to task over trade, intellectual property theft, and Taiwan’s right to defend itself from attack.

During the previous administration, Mr. Trump supported the island nation’s self-defense capabilities to the tune of $1.8 billion in weapons systems sales. Although massive China certainly holds the advantage in a hot war, Mr. Trump worked cooperatively with Taiwan to develop its combat readiness. The communists would now suffer tremendous losses if they moved to invade. Unfortunately for international security, Mr. Trump is no longer Commander-in-Chief.

Along with the air and sea incursions into Taiwan, the Chinese Communist Party has begun a propaganda campaign that indicates invasion ranks among its top priorities while the seemingly weak Democrat sits in the White House. A so-called “opinion” piece recently ran in the Global Times under the headline: “Why US will lose a war with China over Taiwan island.” The piece operates under the assumption China will bomb and land troops on the island, once known as Formosa, because the majority Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) refuses to bend the knee and accept China’s “one country, two systems” coercion.

“Encouraged by U.S. trivialization of the three joint communiqués, the DPP parades a sense of entitlement, taking for granted an umbrella of protection with full knowledge of the dire consequences for the U.S.,” the opinion piece reportedly states. “The U.S. would be wise to regard China as a peer superpower, if only due to her casualty-tolerance — China’s decisive advantage in any fight with the U.S.”

The fake news and establishment media have failed to report that the Global Times is ramping up war talk and is owned and operated by the Chinese Communist Party. This article should never be considered a singular individual’s opinion because the regime vets every word. The communists — via the Global Times — takes its rhetoric one step beyond what Mr. Trump would likely consider a red line not to be crossed.

“The U.S. has never paid an existential price for violating another nation’s sovereignty, leading to our smug sense of military invincibility. However, with Taiwan being a core Chinese priority, that would be a fatal miscalculation,” the Global Times states.

In America, that’s a plain and simple threat directed at the Biden Administration. While China tests the resolve of Biden’s handlers, the weak-kneed Democrat was engaged in photo-ops with G7 counterparts in the EU.

International leaders look on as the White House coddles enemy states such as Iran by removing sanctions. Russia Pres. Vladimir Putin recently mocked Biden as a “career-man” after praising former President Trump in the same interview. Many recall that Obama and Biden sat on their hands when Russia rolled tanks and annexed the Crimea region from Ukraine.

The Biden Administration has scuttled friendship with North Korea, and Putin says relations with the U.S. have hit an all-time low. These and other self-inflicted mistakes have increasingly isolated the U.S. in Southeast Asia. The Global Times may be right that Joe Biden is too incompetent to avoid a war and too weak to win one.
