The celebrities who bribed and cheated their children’s way into college won’t be getting the type of backroom deal Jussie Smollett got for allegedly faking a hate crime in Chicago. In fact, under U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr’s Department of Justice, Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin face jail time.
After more than a dozen wealthy and celebrity parents were swept up in a federal investigation in college admissions cheating, the once untouchable liberal elites are quickly finding out that Obama is no longer president. No phone calls to the DNC, Hillary Clinton or Obama cronies can get them out of this mess. They aren’t being charged in some corrupt Blue State voting-district like Chicago, where police are outraged over the Empire star walking away virtually unscathed.
After rumors about Obama-linked political-insiders contacting people connected with the Chicago prosecution of Smollett, he was basically fined $10K with no admission of guilt or a criminal record. That’s the type of above-the-law attitude Hollywood elites enjoyed under Obama’s A.G. Loretta Lynch. Now cometh Bill Barr — whose DOJ doesn’t pick justice system winners and losers based on status.
Former Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman saw the handwriting on the wall when FBI agents arrested her and demonstrated they had her dead to rights. She was quick to cooperate with federal prosecutors and entered a guilty plea in hopes of a lenient sentence.
“I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I have done, I accept full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions. I am ashamed of the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends, my colleagues and the educational community,” Huffman reportedly said. “I want to apologize to them and, especially, I want to apologize to the students who work hard every day to get into college, and to their parents who make tremendous sacrifices to support their children and do so honestly.”
Although some media opinions have questioned whether her public apology is yet another poor acting job or it’s genuine, reports from the initial court appearances noted that Huffman appeared embarrassed and remorseful. By contrast, Full House and Fuller House actress Loughlin reportedly seemed to be indignant and defiant. She demonstrated all the signs one would expect from liberal Hollywood elites that believe they are above the law. Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, have pled not guilty despite mounting reports the FBI also has them dead to rights.
According to the indictment against Loughlin and her husband, the couple “agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team — despite the fact that they did not participate in crew — thereby facilitating their admission to USC.” The pair are currently on bail set at $1 million.
According to reports, federal prosecutors are expected to request a 4 to 10-month sentence for Huffman who allegedly paid an SAT stand-in $15,000 to improve scores. A.G. Barr’s DOJ is also expected to seek a $20,000 fine, which exceeds to cost of the initial bribe. In terms of justice, Huffman’s likely sentencing appears to fit the crime. She would be getting no celebrity discount as Smollett did in Chicago.
Loughlin and her husband appear to be asserting celebrity privilege, and reports indicate they believe their actions should be considered above the law.
“Lori really believes she isn’t guilty and that any parent would have done the same thing that she did if they were in that position,” one news report indicated. “She doesn’t think that what she did is a criminal act or that she should go to jail. She plans to fight this and won’t give in.”
It’s difficult to fault Loughlin for believing she is an entitled, untouchable Hollywood brat. After eight years of watching the FBI tank an investigation into Hillary Clinton and traitor Chelsea Manning having a sentence commuted by Obama, who could blame her for claiming “no fair, you changed the rules.” Under Barr’s leadership, Loughlin and her husband face up to 20 years behind bars. They can expect proportional justice if a jury brings back a guilty verdict.
Sorry Lori, celebrity rules are a thing of the past. Deal with it!

For years our government has been bribing the states with money and aid to vote for lgislation. Thake for instance the affordable care act. The New Louisiana Purchase: Obamacare’s $4.3 Billion Boondoggle. … Landrieu, critics believe, pledged her vote in exchange for gaining $200 million additional federal funds for Louisiana’s Medicaid program. Opponents quickly adopted the “Cornhusker Kickback” label, alleging that Nelson had traded his vote for Nebraska’s preferential treatment on Obamacare. Are these not just plain old bribes for votes? But I guess we look the other way when Uncle Sam is bribing legislators for votes. Show me the error in my claim. We are people who follow the do as I do rule are we not. So good Old Uncle Sam is nothing but a dirty vote bribing dirt bag yet no one will complain about it. So I say at least these folks were using their own money and not taxpayer’s money so may be we should demand that our own central government should follow the say rules they impose on us. It would be nice to see these hypocrites go to prison for a decent amount of time. Maybe they will get a little perspective on what “reality” is. I do feel sorry for their kids, but maybe this will give the children some important life lessons, and they will appreciate ethical behavior to a higher degree.

I am sure he knew I would respond to many of these comments. 1. I do not feel sorry for these kids. They knew exactly what their grades were and probably had a pretty good idea of the results. I find it hard to believe that grown adults(18 is voting age and army recruitment, they are adults) didn’t have ANY KNOWLEDGE of SAT scores or athletic status. 2. We are not talking about the government! 3. In the past I have enjoyed watching Lori Loughlin, I had no idea she was a complete idiot. Of course she knows it was illegal and most mother’s with any integrity would not do this. She has totally put a negative taste in everyone’s mouth.
